"work" is not an excuse to neglect your creative life. This project has thought me that.

2014.

This is how I choose to live out 2014.

To be inspired. There is so much inspiration surrounding me. I aim to be inspired & to inspire.

To be grateful. Grateful for everyday. For the beauty that is in my presence, and for all that is to come.

To be thankful. Thankful for friends, for family, for today, for everyday.

To be kind. To myself. To others.

To make a change. There are many changes to come. Many paths to choose. Many choices to make. I can't wait for the journey ahead.

To make a difference.

To make an impact. In my life. In the lives of those around me. In those I will never meet.

To live passionately. To live wholeheartedly. To live fully.

To live with every fiber in me. To live with love and heart. To live out loud.

My sister decide to take piano lessons. So in order to practice she bought this. Her room is right next to mine, and when ever she plays it, it annoys the hell out of me. She just keeps playing the same thing over and over and over.... Good thing she also bought a headphone for it, now I told her its mandatory for her to use the headphones.

Baby Girl playing it straight for the camera.

Project365 Day 62: I got my chance in the recording studio. Not as glamorous as it sounds.

Project365 Day 195: a lot of my posts since getting back have been about food.

Tonight's Project 365 photo is of the sun setting behind the water tower on Walsh Estate.

Got a few surprised looks from passing drivers, as I had to get in the right spot to take the shot without getting any power lines in from of it.

I never realised that it doubled as a mobile phone tower.

Preplanning this shot was easy. For sunsets, I use an iPad app called LightTrac so I know where the sun will be when I get there and where I should park, before I even left home. www.lighttracapp.com

May 03 Got up early on this holiday morning to pick up son from Stow so he could meet someone at 8. Long story short, we had to wait until his friend woke up...Grrr! On the good side, while we waited here at Pershore Bridge we went for a walk and saw some sheep. I couldn't decide which picture to use, sheep or bridge. You can guess which won :-)

Day 11 / 365 (#377)

Into the unknown, on these foggy-filled, country back roads.

My sister & I have been exchanging moose gifts for over 20 years now. This was what I got this year. The funny thing is that I also bought her a moose salt & pepper shaker this year too.

Forgot to take a picture today, so this will have to do. :P

8/365 - Pretty Shabby Roses - It still looks like Valentine's Day is happening around here. Even though these roses are a week old, they are still shabby-pretty. #Imperfect364 #Project365

Okay, this is MY Project365, and I'm running it by MY rules.

Today, I ran a 7.5mile road race in Dunblane in the teeth of strong winds, and my Dear Daughter and Dear Wife were kind enough to stand at the finishing line and wait for me. So since this picture, taken by Jenni, was of me, I claim it as a legitimate part of MY project 365.

This is me finishing, in a time of 1:02:47, position 137 out of 254 finishers. If I look knackered and flat footed, there's a good reason for that :-)

Weather conditions were not great. A strong wind blew in our faces for a good part of the run, and I have to admit I struggled to keep focus for such a long run. An incomplete GPS track is at www.endomondo.com/workouts/12159229

Anyway, thanks to the organisers for a meticulously organised race - I really enjoyed it. The ultimate goal for all of this is the Glasgow Half Marathon on 4-Sep... but the short term goal is a warm bath and a nice glass of wine!

Day 337: My plan was to make a big pile of wire and try and use the lens baby to make something interesting, but none of those shots worked out to well. I decided on a minimalist approached

Feb 7 I took my son for a preop assessment today. He's in perfect health and the operation isn't serious. Anyway, we rewarded ourselves with take away pizza afterwards :-)

"O God, You are my God;

Early will I seek You;

My soul thirsts for You;

My flesh longs for You

In a dry and thirsty land

Where there is no water.

So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,

To see Your power and Your glory.

Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,

My lips shall praise You.

Thus I will bless You while I live;

I will lift up my hands in Your name."

Today's Project 365 pic is from this morning when some very low level cloud was moving very fast across the sky.

My parents had some strong winds overnight, so the tractor will be busy in the next few days clearing up some fallen tree limbs.

Today was the day that despite my efforts to sweat my cold out of me I gave in to sickness. Lightheadedness, barking cough, generally feeling crap, you know the score.

It was 4 seasons in one day in Ballarat today, so I stayed inside all afternoon and listened to some vinyl.

I'm not one of those audiophiles that bang on about how vinyl is a much richer sound, pops, crackles, blah blah blah.. I just wanted to listen to some stuff that isn't in my MP3 collection.

Crooning with Domo. Got this cool Shure 55SW 'Elvis' mic from my mom. Not 'shure' what I am going to use it for yet, maybe cartoon voices, vlog or record a rendition of "Blue Suede Shoes"? In the mean time Domo stretches his pipes...can one croon to 'Mr. Roboto'?
