Timothy H. O'Sullivan (1840-14 Jan. 1882) Photographer whose career began as an apprentice operator in Mathew Brady's daguerreotype studio in New York City. Based out of Washington D.C., O'Sullivan photographed military sites and personnel during the Civil War. Followed General William Tecumseh Sherman through South Carolina from December 1861 to May 1862. Over the next three years, O'Sullivan worked for Alexander Gardner photographing soldiers, war equipment, and the aftermath of many significant battles. Following the Civil War, O'Sullivan participated in a number of important scientific and military surveys of the western United States.
Alexander Gardner (October 17, 1821 – December 10, 1882) A Scottish photographer who emigrated to the United States in 1856. Based out of Washington D.C., Gardner was appointed chief photographer under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Topographical Engineers and later became a staff photographer under General George B. McClellan. Between 1862 and 1865, Gardner followed General Ambrose Burnside and General Joseph Hooker and photographed the Battle of Fredericksburg, Battle of Gettysburg, and the Siege of Petersburg. Gardner is also well known for photographing President Abraham Lincoln. After the Civil War, he photographed Native Americans visiting Washington, D.C. and gave up photography to start an insurance company.

Circa 1966 A1 Wooden Box Contents. There were never any partitions. Many baseplates and windows translates to a high probability that this set was Institutional/Educational.
What this means, according to the Storm Prediction Center (I've never seen numbers this high):
If you are located within an area that has a 45% probability for tornadoes, this means you have a 45% chance of a tornado occurring within 25 miles of your location.
My location is inside the 45% probability area. The risk is up from 30% when i went to bed last night. Given the use of the terms "strong or violent" in relation to any possible tornadoes, not to mention "long tracked", well, this is mildly alarming.

Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended) – Part XI.
Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (as amended) – Part 8.
Construct an Access Ramp into the River Dargle, and make the fencing to the People’s Park removable at the West end of the People’s Park, adjacent to River Lane , in the townland of Bray Commons, in the Municipal District of Bray.
The purpose of the proposal is to provide the means to access the River Dargle to maintain the River Dargle Flood Defence Scheme in the area of the People’s Park.
Background:
Wicklow County Council (and the former Bray Town Council) have almost completed the construction of the River Dargle Flood Defense Scheme. This Scheme consists of a number of interventions including deepening and widening the river, and constructing embankments and river walls. These interventions are designed so that a fluvial (river) event of 1% probability of exceedance will remain within the banks (or walls) of the River Dargle. In other words, that means that the likelihood of an event occurring that would breach the river walls (and embankments) is in excess of one in a hundred years. This is the standard that the OPW set for Flood Defense Schemes.
In addition to the civil engineering measures, Wicklow County Council have, in close consultation with Inland Fisheries Ireland, constructed weirs and narrow channels, mostly of large rocks or boulders, in order that the environment is as natural and attractive as possible for fish life. Some more in-river fish environment works will be done in Summer 2017, also in consultation with IFI.
It is an inescapable fact that sands, gravels and even cobbles will be moved by the river. Also the more water that flows in the river, the more material will be carried downstream. For years, Bray Town Council, (now Wicklow County Council) have removed gravels and other deposited material from the river to ensure the capacity of the river to carry water is maintained.
For Wicklow County Council (or the OPW) to get access to the River in the stretch from Fran O’Toole Bridge to the lower end of the Slang, it is essential that there be an adequate access ramp. The works described in this proposal would ensure the availability of such an access ramp.
It is intended that this new ramp would be accessible by driving along River Lane.
It is intended that the new ramp would only be used for essential maintenance of the River Dargle Flood Defense Scheme. While the frequency of use of the ramp is dependant on the frequency of significant flooding events, experience of Bray Town Council would suggest that it would be required less often than every two years. Also, the duration of use is unlikely to exceed one or two weeks in each case.
Works Outline
The works consist of
1. Diverting existing ESB cables that would be over the proposed ramp.
2. Constructing sheet pile and masonry walls, alongside the River
3. Constructing a concrete ramp into the River
4. Constructing a removable, masonry clad, reinforced concrete (RC) panel at the top of the ramp with removable railings in and around the ramp.
These works are shown on drawings number B1282.3_7000, B1282.3_7001, B1282.3_7003 and B1282.3_7004.
Timescale:
It is intended to carry out the construction work in Q2 and Q3 of 2017, subject to approval of the Part 8 procedure.

Going off road on a 4 x 4 with a Hyderabadi Nawab who owned the resort, we had one heck of a morning. He took us to places that, in all probability, are completely unknown / inaccessible to most people.
The tire tracks in the foreground are made by the Nawab's 4 x 4, which originally was 30 years old, and he has extensively reworked on it to get it to the state it is in now.
One morning that the 4 of us would remember for a really long time.

Another look at the delightful gazebo in the Imperial Garden, which is in all probability the Pavilion of Floating Spring. (subject to confirmation). Note the paved pathway. These footpaths are paved with varied patterns of coloured pebbles, symbolizing good luck and fortune. I read on a website that if one cares to pay attention, one would observe a group of pictures set in the footpath stones which depict shrews punishing their husbands. It seems strange that such pictures should appear here in feudal China at a time when male dominance and more especially the omnipotence of the emperor prevailed! Maybe the emperor was a poor henpecked soul, like most of us poor males are? (joke!) (Beijing (Peking), China, May 2017)

Amy Ellen Mainville Cohn is an Arthur F. Thurnau Professor in the Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan, where she also holds an appointment in the Department of Health Management and Policy in the School of Public Health.
Dr. Cohn is the Faculty Director of the Center for Healthcare Engineering and Patient Safety (CHEPS). She holds an A.B. in applied mathematics, magna cum laude, from Harvard University and a PhD in operations research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Her primary research interests are in applications of combinatorial optimization, particularly to healthcare and aviation, and to the challenges of optimization problems with multiple objective criteria. She values teaching, mentoring, having a positive impact on society through her work, and helping to foster a vibrant, diverse, nurturing community.

An Elizabethan man of average means - and Raleigh is as commoner - would, in all probability, possess a single suit of clothes, so production did not have the luxury of outfitting him as they would their courtiers. Byrne explains, "There are lots of contemporary engravings of Raleigh, but the reality is that a gentleman of that time maybe had one suit of clothing - he would have gone to sea in those clothes, where they would have gotten wet, then dried, they would have gotten torn, they would have been repaired. So we worked with the idea that his clothes had gone to sea with him and they had evolved of the the journey... and remember, it was four months there and four monthes back."
The designer worked with Clive Owen on the evolution of the design, assuring him that "the britches would be fine! He was a little alarmed by them. But by the end of production, I think he was quite keen on them, the way they have become a part of him. They give you a certain way of walking and a certain scale. He wears them like no one else!"

I'm an amateur trader, and this platform is helping me so much. I know that sometimes starting to trade Forex signals may be confusing, but I've been feeling that… with Tools trades I'm starting to clearly “playing” this game. We all know that forex its complicated and it is a risk that we take in every investment, that's why we have to take it seriously. This platform is so well-organized and for me, it is simple to use. I can find trading strategy articles, specialized analyzes, and the most new articles; I can also consult, very interesting financial reports that makes you grow in this area.
I have been reading some peoples experience’s and the probability of scam and so high, that’s why I was so skeptical at first that even refuse to used the paid platform, but its going well so far. Other thing that’s so good about it (sorry if am I sound like a fan girl) is that they have professional customer supports, in my experience they look ready to answer questions or solve problems everytime of the day.
So, in my experience, toolstrades are doing that I take better and wiser decisions, until today they have never made a wrong prediction. If you learn a new way to take advantage of this platform, let me know.

An Elizabethan man of average means - and Raleigh is as commoner - would, in all probability, possess a single suit of clothes, so production did not have the luxury of outfitting him as they would their courtiers. Byrne explains, "There are lots of contemporary engravings of Raleigh, but the reality is that a gentleman of that time maybe had one suit of clothing - he would have gone to sea in those clothes, where they would have gotten wet, then dried, they would have gotten torn, they would have been repaired. So we worked with the idea that his clothes had gone to sea with him and they had evolved of the the journey... and remember, it was four months there and four monthes back."
The designer worked with Clive Owen on the evolution of the design, assuring him that "the britches would be fine! He was a little alarmed by them. But by the end of production, I think he was quite keen on them, the way they have become a part of him. They give you a certain way of walking and a certain scale. He wears them like no one else!"

I think that AI image generation is similar in many ways to photography. The camera itself handles all the fine details, but the photographer is in charge of curating the types of images that will be created.
Ultimately, it is all about maximizing the probability that something good will be created.
This is very similar to AI image generation, in terms of the skills involved and what the human does vs. what the machine does.
You can't compare AI image generation to the process of actually making these images from scratch with 3D software or paint/pencils, where the human controls every detail.
However, I think the process really is very similar to that of photography, as I made the case for above. I think that DALL-E 3 is by far the most powerful AI image generation tool currently available.

Parish Church of Ober-St. Veit ("Mary, Refuge of Sinners", "St. Vitus")
One of the most impressive religious buildings of the 13th District is the in a privileged position on a hill located parish of Upper-St. Veit.
The beginnings of a church complex at this location date back to the 12th century. The earliest - indirect - documented mention of a parish of St. Vitus, and thus an associated church, is the between 1260-1298 written letter of Curé Helias of St. Veit to the bailiff of Baumgarten.
The still under the choir existing crypt stems with a high probability from this earliest construction. It presents above a powerful polygonal central pillar cross vault. In 1800 it was still a consecrated chapel in which altar figures of the Virgin and St. John were located. The altar table dates from the year 1745. 1904 the connection with the upper church was bricked up.
The plan of the 1433 by the patronage master cathedral provost William Tuers newly built God's house, which had only a two-bay nave is handed down by a building documentation of Matthias Gerl.
Originally, the on three sides by an embankment wall surrounded church was open at the east side of a no longer extant castle. The still partly visible, pillar-supported wall had a parapet and embrasures, which were recognizable in part until the new building of the vicarage (1962).
After the destruction by the Turks in 1535 by Bishop Fabri took place a restoration of the church, 1609/10, it came to the erection of the St. Anne's, St. John's and Our Lady Altar. 1553 and 1615 new bells were installed.
The Saint construction dates back to 1742 and was built according to the plans of the Viennese Court architect Matthias Gerl the Younger in three years of construction. Interestingly, is found in the Stuttgart Nicolai Collection a drawing of the church tower "of St. Vitus, three hours of Vienna" from the year 1746. Supervised was the construction by the archiepiscopal ornamental and pleasure gardener Anton Mayr. The entire community for the church building rendered so-called hand and draught services, which are simple auxiliary works, to relieve the patronage master, the Archbishop of Vienna, Cardinal Sigmund Graf Kollonitsch, financially. His coat of arms can be seen on the tympanum of the south entry. The consecration of the church took place on 22 August 1745.
Matthias Gerl then by the still existing west tower of the castle and the Gothic choir with a thereto attached northeast steeple in its design possibilities was constricted. In an advanced stage of planning, he renounced the western tower, so that he could expand the central space.
In 1887 followed a major renovation of the entire church building; 1895, the kerosene lamps were removed and replaced by gas light.
The changes inside the church, which the pastor H. Riedl undertook 1901-1908, partly exist yet and are not without controversy. For example, in 1902 the former sacristy cemetery was converted to the Antonius chapel, later the exit into the crypt walled up and the, unfortunately, stylistically not suitable floor in center and traverse aisle laid. For the two large side windows in the nave he had painted new stained glass windows. They were donated by the families Rohrbacher and Glasauer and existed there until 1958. A small excerpt from one of the windows is as a wall decoration in the largest room of St. Vitus-House.
1994/95, the much needed facade renovation of the parish church could be carried out.
1965, a baptistery was built according to plans by Georg Lippert on the north side of the nave. It served also as a confessional chapel and religious site for the working days.
In 1994, a chapel new building was erected in its place. The plans were drawn by Hermann Bauer. The in comparison to the old building towards the north enlarged chapel is both accessible from inside the church and from the entranceway to the church, a vitrified connection. The opening times of the chapel are independent from those of the parish church. The ratio of the height of the ceiling to the height of the wall is based on the golden section; the wooden structure of the stepped ceiling is visible. The semi-circular, bricked and flanked by two, positioned ahead columns sanctuary is located in the central part of the glazed north façade and receives indirect, natural light from above. The chapel floor is covered with Greek marble. The altar lower part of Wachauer marble on the front side has twelve figures in relief representing the twelve apostles, in a broader sense, the people of God. The ambo of the same material shows the Resurrected with the disciples of Emmaus. Altar and ambo are from the Lienz artist Peter Niedertscheider. The baptismal font is a work from the 19th century.
