In particular, the day will end with a panel discussion on the theme: "How to turn your degree from a small graduate program into a big success."
Option trading strategies for high volatility are designed to take advantage of such a situation, thus grabbing the chance of potential profits and limiting the risk of loss, when the market hits high volatility, the stocks have a greater probability to make significant movements in either direction within brief periods.
1. What is options trading?
An Option is a contract that is connected to an underlying asset, including a stock, security, and the like. Options trading is the process of trading instruments where you get the right to buy or sell a certain type of aforementioned assets on a specific date and at a specific price.

Short straddle: a short straddle is where you write or sell a call and a put option at the same strike price to receive the premiums on both positions. The reason behind this is that traders believe that the high implied volatility will decrease towards the expiration date, allowing most of the premium to be retained.
Short strangle: a short strangle is the same as a short straddle. The only difference lies in the strike price on the positions of the call option and the put option. The general rule you have to follow is that the strike price of one option should be different from the other one, however, both should be out-of-the-money and has approximately similar distance toward the current price of the underlying asset.

Above is only some simple descriptions of common option trading strategies for high volatility. Most of them are not only complicated but also involve potentially unlimited losses, making them only worth considering for traders who are well-experienced with the risk of options trading. Fresh traders should take more time before actual practices and just stick with other simple strategies.

Think about the things that make you unhappy. The greatest probability of the perceived source of your unhappiness is the behaviors of others. And more often than not what you suffer from is similar to stage fright.
When you get up on a stage in front of a crowd you immediately begin putting your own thoughts into the minds of everyone in your audience. And if you cannot get a grip on your projections, your own melt-down is sure to follow.
In reality, all of the negativity was personal abuse. Most of the people in the audience have their own troubles, their own concerns that have nothing to do with you at all, and their own issues with their current experience of stage fright - more concerned about what others think of themselves than they are concerned with anything you are doing.
Reading minds is a difficult skill and more often than not it is very inaccurate because the construct of the person whose mind you're attempting to read exists in your own mind, built of your own thoughts, and quite possibly your assumptions don't even come close to the reality of the other person's thoughts.
Stop inflicting pain on yourself.
A good tactic to examine truth is to write down what you think is true and then write down what experiences you've had. Often your experience resembles tip of the iceberg that exists in your mind and the remaining portion of the iceberg is nothing less than your own imagination.
This is self abuse. A very common source of unhappiness that is extremely easy to alleviate. Simply stop assuming that your internal constructed world is the real world.

The failure probability of engineering structures such as bridges, airframes and MEMS ought to be <10-6. This is a challenge. For perfectly brittle and ductile materials obeying the Weibull or Gaussian distributions with the same coefficient of variation, the distances from the mean strength to 10-6 differ by cca 2:1. For quasibrittle or architectured materials such as concrete, composites, tough ceramics, rocks, ice, foams, bone or nacre, this distance can be anywhere in-between. This necessitates a new theory of strength probability distribution. The recent formulation of Gauss-Weibull statistics derived from analytical scale transitions and frequency of activation-energy controlled interatomic bond ruptures is reviewed. Then, motivated by imbricated lamellar architecture of nacre, a new probability model with alternating series and parallel links, resembling a diagonally-pulled fishnet, is developed. After the weakest-link and fiber-bundle models, it is the third model tractable analytically. It allows for a continuous transition between Gaussian and Weibull distributions, and is size-dependent. Comparisons with histograms and size-effect tests support the theory.
