This pocket camera from 1986 for 110 film is significant as the last of the long-running "Brownie" series of cameras that began in 1900.

It's a basic but good camera.

Peep was so relaxed in the sunshine that warms this area every morning...until I came in with the camera!

It was a blah kind of day, but I still wanted to explore along the creek and see if I could find some late winter photographic treasures, as the sky was creating a nice bluish-green cast on the surface of the water. That made the water really stand out among the shades of brown surrounding it. It was a little breezy, so there weren't any reflections being made on the rippled surface.

Since it was a drab sort of day, I also decided to process some of the photos in black and white, using the various contrast modes that Adobe Photoshop Elements offers.

I spotted this artistic section of wall in the Westfield Southcenter Mall in Seattle, Washington. It was our first day visiting the Seattle area with my cousin Kyle, who was stationed in Fort Lewis at the time. It was pouring rain and we hadn't decided on any definite plans. We ended up finding the mall by mistake and decided to explore it. This was in April 2013.

Kodak 400 film obtained from a garage sale. When I saw the expiration date on this roll, I was tempted to throw it away, but then I thought, hey why not try it?

I loaded this roll, expired in 1987, into the camera I got with it, and away we go!

Just got the negs back from the developing place. About half the pictures on it are from last summer. This one is from the 4th Fest of 2011.

Well, I guess the camera works.

Another little 110 pocket camera I picked up downtown for $1

Pocket camera from the early 1970s for 110 film. Made in USA. A basic, but well made, camera. I use it occasionally.

Practicing music in the church sanctuary on this sunny evening in March 2012 was so peaceful and beautiful. The golden hour sunlight streaming through the stained glass was breathtaking. Combine that with wonderful music in an acoustically pleasing sanctuary and you have an awesome evening of worship and fellowship with friends.

This window was given in memory of Henry & Ellen McKenzie. I don't know the history.

I absolutely love exploring along this creek, which has fascinated me since I was young. I've always loved water. I love to look at it, be around it and swim/wade in it. I've never swam in this particular creek though. I usually stick to pools.

The view has changed some in the name of progress. Some of the trees across the water have been cleared away for a new business moving into town. I do not know what that business is yet. They are still doing dirt work.

Since it was a 'brown dirt 'sort of day, I also decided to process some of the photos in black and white, using the various contrast modes that Adobe Photoshop Elements offers.

And perhaps love lost.

Had this model in younger days and now it's come home to roost. Popular 110 film camera... easy load... just point and shoot. Complete with original box (love the packaging), Magic Cubes (used) and flash mount stem. Thems were the dayz! May give this one a try just for fun! Shooting 110... hmmmm....
