Here is a picture of my little point and shoot.

It's almost the digital opposite of my D200. It's small, thin,n automatic and i tend to take it everywhere with me, as it's the 'credit card' version of this camera. It's also so easy to use.

I think it's more important for a point and shoot to be with you than to have lots of flashy functions, but be too big, so it's left at home. The exilim fits nicely in my pocket, or bag and you don;t even notice it. This coupled with the gorilla pod and the exilims ability to take 3x self portraits in a row, make it so good for setting up a shot.

Its great for taking snapshots of friends on nights out. I also like giving it to alsion when we're out and about, as it means that she can take some photos and that i get to appear in some shots (as i hate handing over my camera to her ;-)).

The quality is OK on this, it's only 6 mega pixels, but i have used it in a few 365s when my D200 has appeared, and i've been satisfied.

Overall a very good camera for what it is......saying that i've had it about two years (this is the second Exilim i've had, the first was a 2 mega pixel non zoom camera) and i would like a slightly bigger screen (only for 365 reasons, it looks better in a picture, and sometimes when i zoom in on PS you can really see the pixels. But apart from that, i'm really happy with it.

The 'All-Distance' pocket camera from Houghton-Butcher, is a 120 rollfilm camera and probably produced in their Walthamstow factory in London circa 1931. This is the brown crinkle finish version which along with red and blue painted varieties were considered 'for the ladies' and cost £2-0-0 at the time, instead of the more usual £1-17-6 for the original black version.

Houghton & Butcher had merged in 1926. Their HQ was destroyed in an air raid in 1940 but the company continued until 1961.

Branded ‘All-Distance’ - it only had two focus positions - portraits or views! Apertures can be set for 'small', 'medium' and 'large' and it has an everset shutter which means that there is no need to cock the shutter before use.

After getting an underwater-capable, shock proof/freeze proof and very tough pocket camera for my birthday in June, it still took me nearly two months to be brave enough to actually put it in water. I knew I needed to do it before the summer came to an end. Since it has a one-year warranty, next summer would be too late.

Wow, it was so fun! I picked the perfect night to take it to the pool since preparations were underway for a "Back to School Bash" that included a lot of beach balls of all shapes and sizes for me to photograph.

This is a completely above water view as I am standing just beside the deep end.

While downtown at another antique store today (September 19th, 2012), that recently re-opened, I happened to find this Minolta 110 pocket camera hanging on a peg for sale. It was only $1 and it came with a bonus. When I got home, I found a roll of Kodak film inside it that hadn't even been wound to frame 1. Since this camera didn't seem to work, I popped that film into another little camera I also bought there today for $1, a Kodak Tele-Ektra 300 that seems to work perfectly.

Who knows how long this film had been in the camera and to what conditions it was subjected to during that time? But, I started using it today and when it's finished, I'll be sure to post some shots from it if any turn out.

This is what the dash of a 1981 Lincoln Town Car I used to have looked like. Taken with a Continental 110 pocket camera on a trip to just below Chicago in 1986.

Olympus XA. Konica Minolta DNP Centuria 200

From da hood.

This is my Olympus XA. Its a nice little camera to use, its so small and apparently the pictures are really sharp. I have never been overly pleased with the results, they are OK but i prefer my LOMO camera.

The fuzz on these little branches make me think of peach fuzz.

Playing with my new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX00. Full manual mode from a camera that fits in your pocket. Carl Zeiss lens, 13.22mm x 8.8mm CMOS Sensor, 20.2 Mega pixels. Shoots Raw or Jpeg.

No Raw converter yet for Apple / Aperture.

This was shot in Jpeg limiting my ability to edit properly….

So far very happy with this tiny but powerful camera. Bought a Gattor Pod, so I can take slow shots anywhere on the go :)

I can't wait for the water to be warm enough to hit the pool and start swimming.

Every summer I spend a lot of time at the pool swimming laps. I love it.

I had been assisting at a workshop at The European Film College together with my good friend Tobias.

We got on the ferry - heading for Zealand - just as the sun was setting. I captured this photo of the back of the ferry with my Casio EX-FC100 pocket camera.

I added some grain and the Polaroid looking look to it in post.

Black And White 35mm Film Photography

While taking my kids to visit with my mom, I quickly snapped this shot of Tony with his tío.

Shot with a Lumix GM5 and its 12-32mm kit lens.

Pocket camera for 110 film. Made in England during the early 1970s.

I saw the lights refracting in my GM1's lcd screen so I moved around to get them the way they appear here.

Whatever happened to Baby Jane?

Well, it appears that Jane is living in luxury at Lanhydrock House in Cornwall, partying in the nursery with several other creepy dolls, teddy bears and a rocking horse!
