These two shots were taken along Lake White on Ohio 104 on the way back from picking up my grandfather's violin from local luthier Mick Ward. My aunt had given me the violin a few weeks before when she and my uncle were preparing to downsize and move south.
It needed a little work to be in playable condition again and Mick did a good job getting it back together. Now if I can just master the violin!
I really liked the clouds that the storm generated along the lake.
In a flower pot of my friends that contained either hot pink flowers or white/pink striped flowers, I found this bloom that contained both. I don't know if that was supposed to happen, or if it just did. Nonetheless, it needed to be photographed.
I wish the focus was better on the actual flowers, but my pocket camera decided it needed to focus on the center stems.
This pink Hibiscus was one of the many planted along the side walk beside the putt putt course at the main office of Springmaid Resort at Myrtle Beach during my brief summer trip with friends in June 2014.
I need to search for the proper ID for these flowers that I photographed while walking along the road at Myrtle Beach State Park. The road was beside vegetation, sand and sea oats.

Just over four years ago, I had a surgery that changed my life for the better. For many years, I dealt with severe leg tightness and pain. I was finally diagnosed with a torn hip labrum and had arthroscopic surgery to repair it. The recovery was long as I worked to rebuild muscles and balance. Taking daily short walks was of the utmost importance.
On these summer walks, my mom and I noticed these flowers in an elevated yard by a historic home. They were begging to be photographed. This sequence of shots was one that I intended to post long ago, but didn't get around to it. So, here are some golden yellow and bright orange Nasturtiums for your viewing pleasure.
Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by!
