"The sweetest flower that blows, I give you as we part. For you it is a Rose, For me it is my heart." ~ Frederick Peterson 1859-1938

Enjoying the last of the tulips. They sure were beautiful this year!

I found this flower in my mother's garden. With the late afternoon light the flower looked like it was made out of crepe paper:-)

Just opening, showing the intense coral pink color, which over a few days fades to a peachier pink.

These orchids are special. We have only found them about 5 times over 40 years. Such a pretty and tiny one. These were large as they were ~ 80mm tall. Usually they are smaller.

Flower July to September

I finally have some roses blooming!

These lovely flowers are from my garden last year. I don't have anything blooming yet and I am anxious for them to start again. It is raining today and has been all week. If it isn't raining it is cold and very windy with winds up to 35 mph. Sigh! I saw these in my files and they brightened my day.
