Pink Gerbera Daisy
Now that I have had a little time to try out the close-up filter its really allowing me to see flowers in a different light. While my wife doesn't like this side view, this is more in line with what I see from other macro photographers. The petals almost have a painted-like texture to them.

These lovely flowers are from my garden last year. I don't have anything blooming yet and I am anxious for them to start again. It is raining today and has been all week. If it isn't raining it is cold and very windy with winds up to 35 mph. Sigh! I saw these in my files and they brightened my day.
