There were still plenty of roses in Bodnant Garden in late October. I love the shape of these ones.

I had a couple of dozen lovely roses last week. Red and pink. I love roses. I tried to photograph, but I don't really have the lens for this type of photography.

I see this rose bush almost every morning when I'm on my morning walk but the light is never right for photographing it. When I took my walk this afternoon, the sun was in the right position. Bit bright, but I couldn't do anything about that.

I have a confession. I am one of those people who uses auto settings and auto focus all the time. This photo was neither. Yay!
