I spotted these lovely flowers on Michiela's desk today at work. Don't they look like paper? They're not -- they are real flowers. Although I have no idea what kind they actually are. Michiela got them for her birthday last week, which I have managed to miss every single year that I have known her. The problem is that she was born on St. Patrick's day, upon which you will always find me a) in Vegas betting on basketball or b) in Austin for SXSW. Ironically though, you will never actually find me celebrating St. Patrick's day. What can I say? Leprechauns are scary.
Good Morning!
Here's a pink lady dogwood flower from my backyard. I took this shot yesterday morning while the sun was still low in the sky.
Cheers,
Wade
