For our "pink" colour of the week: after three days of rain, the sun finally came out for a while late in the afternoon. Our rogue tulip, the one that insists on coming back each year in our tomato bed, made for a great pink disply. Processed with one layer of KIm Klassens texture, "Look up" (SL 71%) and one of Cotton Candy (SL at 100%). Those are weeds in the background, the ever-present henbit, but will keep it around for a while; it provided a nice bit of background color!
I’d noticed these pink flowers on my way to work in my office’s backyard. It was an overcast day which helped push the beautiful colors of the flower and the leaves forward · Istanbul | Turkey
Pink Petals
This beautiful soft pink flower is decorated with Swarovski crystals. Various shapes and sizes create lovely texture and shine. (the photograph truly doesn't do this piece justice..it REALLY SPARKLES in person)
Feminine and soft these make the perfect accessory for weddings and any other special events. Classic and beautiful this can be worn with everything! Approximately 3 inches around. Double prong clip secures this piece in any hair style.
There's a thread on PP asking people to post photos of Blythes with a spring theme, like flowers. I was sad to find that there are no flowers planted around my apartment complex yet... so I had to use fake flowers.
Pink overload! ^^
Pink Peony in our garden. Original colors... no postprocessing, only cropped.
The peony or paeony (Paeonia) is named after Paeon or Paean, a student of Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine and healing. Asclepius became jealous of his pupil; Zeus saved Paeon from the wrath of Asclepius by turning him into the peony flower.

one of my all time favorite poems:
The rose
Some say love, it is a river, that drowns the tender reed
Some say love, it is a razor, that leaves your soul to bleed
Some say love, it is a hunger, an endless aching need
I say love, it is a flower, and you, its only seed
Its the heart afraid of breaking, that never learns to dance
Its the dream afraid of waking, that never takes the chance
Its the one who wont be taken, the one who cant seem to give
And the soul afraid of dying, that never learns to live
When the night has been too lonely and the road has been too long
And you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong
Just remember that in the winter, far beneath the bitter snow
Lies the seed, that with the suns love in the spring becomes the rose.
