It is a medium sized goose, 60-75cm long, the wingspan 135-170cm, and weighing 1.8-3.4 kg. It has a short bill, bright pink in the middle with a black base and tip, and pink feet.

The body is mid-grey-brown, the head and neck a richer, darker brown, the rump and vent white, and the tail grey with a broad

white tip.

Sheltered between pink, petal like bracts which many people think to be flowers, these are the real and tiny flowers of the hydrangea.

"I love you for your pink Cadillac, crushed velvet seats

Riding in the back, oozing down the street

Waving to the girls, feeling out of sight

Spending all my money on a Saturday night

Honey, I just wonder what you do there in the back of your pink Cadillac"

Eu tenho uma novidade boa para o ano que vem (:

Saw this at the Saturday Market on Sunday.

I have set myself a task this month to only post photos that have some pink or mostly pink in them - it might be a difficult challenge but lets see :-)

Have a wonderful weekend my friends!
