If you love colors like I do, you may be interested in my set "365 days in color" or one of the other sets organized by color. I hope you'll enjoy some of the photos, even if the new Flickr doesn't make it as easy as before to discover them.

I found myself immersed in this pink flower trying to get a good handheld macro shot, no tripod around so I had to rely on the Lens IS which is awesome btW! Focus was manual and I had to step down to F/4 cause otherwise the dog was way too shallow.

Wish wish I could be the real thing

real thing

there'd be no put down

walk around as if you

Know it's true

if you knew I'd be soon cut down

(cut down, cut down)

Poor pink flower

poor pink flower

nervously I hold on to my chair

here the air is not so certain

I am waiting for the sun to rise

my oh my it looks so searing

ragged laughing

I would flower

I would flower if I could

Lovely people go on by my dreams

I'm so green

I shake in my shoes

hoped I'd die

I'd die before I'm old

but poor and old I'd wish on no one

no one

Macrofilter fun :)

I went to get my hair cut today. When I left my hairdresser I asked her if I could " steal " some of the flowers she had in her frontyeard.... Yes, she said. What do you want to use them for... There are not that pretty....( I guess she has never looked " into " them) And she knows my addiction..... so a few seconds later she said. " ahhh, stupid question !!! "

Here are the results of fun evening at the kitchentable........

My daughter even joined the fun !

Called Pink BBQ Roses because I found them outside a Texas BBQ place. The owner and gardener said the secret to his successful roses is that he feeds them a tablespoon of Miracle Grow every single day diluted with water.

This was one of my first attempts with reverse mounting my 50mm lense. It definitely requires some skill and practice but the shots are fun.

Picked from my garden
