Another of our azaleas here at the house, taken a late last week. I tried for a shot of this opening bud alongside a fully open blossom, but I didn't have enough depth of field (time 7:08 pm, exposure 1/40 sec., f/5.6, ISO 500), so I cropped out the open blossom; otherwise, little was done to the image. These bushes still are providing nice color, but some others have been losing a lot of petals in our recent rains, and the dogwood blossoms are pretty much history.

These sweet little coasters make a delightful housewarming or hostess gift. Each is sewn with a light layer of batting to add softness and texture. They come in a set of 6, tied with coordinating ribbon.

Last of the 'rhodie' images for the season. Canna, yucca & hosta blooms are up next!
