The pink passion flower is not as hardy as the blue variety, but you still get a long flowering season. The composition and amazing detail of the flower is brilliant and to watch them unfurl is lovely.

Whiling away a dull winters afternoon with a spot of focus stacking. Tethered shooting using Helicon Remote and the resulting stacked images processed using Helicon Focus 6. Final post processing in Photoshop CC (2014).
So I went to the mk2 studio opening 2 weeks ago and took some photos... which in reality turned out to be horrible since I had no idea what I should be looking out for where studio lighting is concerned!
I was one of the last people to take photos... and whilst I watched the other photographers taking their shots, I just knew I wanted to take this one... except in the resulting photo the model's arm (the one holding the cane) was TRANSPARENT.
But I liked the pose so much that I just had to use it - by hook or by crook... and this is how it ended up!

Pink double peony now beginning to blossom as the white peonies reach the end of their prime flowering period.
Now it will fold away, too, so I want to keep its image in memory. I didn't get the clarity I wanted, but in a few months, that will feel perfectly nostalgic.
