I have an admission to make. I have a serious weakness for shiny, sexy, clingy, tight fitting, curve hugging women's apparel! ...and boots- hot, stiletto-heeled boots! I know its a character flaw, or maybe its just "character!"

This set consists of three parts: a blouse, a skirt and a corseted overskirt and was inspired by Easter time.
There are three versions of this set, with the same range of fabrics who also inspired me, but in different tones so each set is unique Ooak. The two other sets are in shade of blue or green. This set is fully handmade with a lot of hand sewing finishes.
The blouse sewn in pale yellow muslin batiste, fully gathered around the neckline and on the bottom sleeves, edged with small lace, to give it an "old country shirt" look. The back closure is formed by two pearl beads and embroidered loops.
The skirt has a high waist belt, just below the chest, lined with contrasting fabric that highlights the edge. The bottom line is adorned with a frilly pink silk chiffon, pale pink lace, a moss green silk ribbon and tiny pale pink bows. The back closure is formed by deep pink cubic beads and embroidered loops.
The corseted overskirt is sewn with different assorted fabrics. The front panel with a delicate lacing is embellished by embroidered roses. The overskirt, in the spirit of Little Bo Peep and sewn into a striped matching fabric, is lined with a silk ribbon that goes back to the top of the corset. The lacing is in the back through small metal eyelets.

Too bad the boobiethon is over, i just found out about it yesterday evening. At least i can contribute to this pool, and i hope i will do it for 2 more days.

When my daughter first started staying at her dad's house on a regular basis, we often verbalized the sending of affection by saying we were sending "pink light" to each other. She may even have learned it from her long-time Montessori guide.
Anyway, I send all the mothers Pink Light... as well as anybody else who'd like a little extra TLC.

im sure that at some point all of us have been touched by cancer in some way....
all four of my grandparents had different forms of cancer...
both my paternal grandfather and maternal grandmother died before i was born....
my paternal grandmother passed when i was seven i still miss her 40 years on every day..
my wonderful grandfather my moms dad fought cancer for many many years ,
we were told as young kids he was going to die ..
he did at the age of 94 when i was in my late twenties ,he was the most wonderful man
whom i feel was the most influencial man in my life he showed us how to never give up..
get up and just keep going . well he sure did he saw off three wives lol...
we also have a very dear friend who despite having cancer herself works and devotes her life to women with breast cancer...
im not going to name her here but if you live in the west of cumbria im sure you will know this amazing inspirational woman....
i dedicate this image not just to the few people i have mentioned here but all of my dear flickr friends.......and to the rest of the flickr community...
i make this dedication with all of my heart and want you to know that you have touched mine......

These just came out in the last few days; the rain did knock a lot of blooms off, but trees are still full. These were in front of the local school; 4 trees are in front, 3 trees in back by playground and all are fluffy and full of blossoms. The background in this shot is actually an apartment building opposite the school.
This vibrant colored lily is really hard to find. I have bought many lilies over the years and this is the most vibrant one that I have ever found. I fell in love with the colors. This picture was taken indoors with natural light as it streamed in through the windows.
My wife loves these but she does not want any at our house. She said they attract ants and she does not want the ants to go with them. Shot these in a park in town. too bad.. They are pretty.
Belle is in her pink and red winter outfit. She has a dark red velvet cape with white fur trim, which is secured with a red ribbon tied in the front. Her pink satin dress skirt has a center light pink panel in the skirt with dark pink glitter roses which don't shed. Her dark brown hair is stiffened in the ends to keep its curl, which looks messy in the box pose. I tried to make it as even and neat as I could after deboxing her, but it still has a Medusa look. She is wearing dark pink flats, which match the color of her skirt.
I just bought the newly released 12 inch singing dolls from my local Disney Store. They are not yet available online. They had Aurora (as Briar Rose), Belle (in her Winter outfit) and Anna (in her Coronation outfit). They are $19.95 each, and have the same packaging as the Ariel, Cinderella, Elsa, Jasmine and Moana singing dolls released in 2018. They sing for about 15 seconds when you twist their left hand (to your right as you face them). Aurora sings 'Once Upon a Dream' acapella, Belle sings 'Something There' acapella and Anna sings 'Love Is an Open Door' with musical accompaniment.
a oerfect rose in full bloom calling all bees to gather possen and leave behind new pollens attached to their legs that will go into the ovary at the base of the center and thereby make the cycle of life continue for another round. Taken at Palm Desert Park in southern California where spring and summer comes early and stays late but in a very hot way.
PS: Ask Alexa, Siri, Spotify and Amazon to play some songs by JOHN WILLIAM HAMMOND (use all 3 names) if not into one says next song or play it again. You will find inspirational, folk, country, childrens, and some pop and jazz too. Blessings.
I think I've described my new neighbour already by her love of roses. She's the one who took out a lilac and a magnolia to make room for more rose plants.
This beauty is hers and that's Carmella, herself, in the background.
P.S. I've never grown roses because of the problems they can have but now I see there are disease resistant varieties that do very well in Squamish. (Guess who has a ride to a nursery today?)
