Aletta and Denver have decided to leave their apartment in L.A. and move someplace safer to raise little Elin. Taxes and crime are on the rise, the urgency to get out a pressing matter.
A street seller catch in Djiahe park (Huangdao District of Qingdao China) when she arrived an start her set up. Her "shop" is quite simple, a table full of small items which are so far still hidden in the big cases on her motorbike. That's China.

Lard Packing House: No 61 Barrels/Casks/Flagons: Whiskey?
Whoever wrote the previous line got it wrong, not Whiskey but barrels filled with lard bladders, which of course we now know courtesy of sharon.corbet to pigs bladders which have been dried, inflated, and then filled with lard.
OwenMacC identifies the location as J Mattersons, Bacon Factory, Roches Street, Limerick.
swordscookie aka Sean, tells a nice story of his Family and their involvement with Matterson Company, "Mattersons moved to new premises out in Kileely in the '70's and they commissioned the creation of a plaque for the reception. My father-in-law who was an iron founder made a cast of his own hands which was then placed on the wall. When Mattersons eventually closed my brother in law managed to buy the plaque and now has it in his home! You can see a photo of the cast in the comments below.

It was a big cane with those extra petals shooting out from the center. I like the way it looks. You can see how the petals have each been packed. Thought I would photograph it, so you can see how the trans is packed in.
Packing for two week's cycling in Japan. Missing a few items, like a book for the flight, a razor, maps of Japan etc.
Yes, it's time to pack my stuff again. This time for the LEGO Fan Weekend at Skaerbaek, my first time being there. The boxes are bit higher now thus no need to dismantle the models. Easy packing, easy setting everything up at the event :-) Looking forward to the event and meeting everyone!
My wife packing some presents to lay under the tree. She is the designated wrapper as the most I can achieve is a "mint-wrap" sort of packing...
I love this season! If only my wife knew how to buy me lenses...

Some tiny specks in sky are bees. The *soul of this was trying to get close enough to get some good shots, and far enough away to not get stung. Also part of the soul was asking permission to take pictures.

This was on the Highway that went from I-5 (North and South) westerly toward Corvallis, Oregon. It was not yet to Corvallis city limits, so I'm not very sure if it was Benton County or Linn County, Oregon, but it was rural.
After the weekend Wammes, Pukkie and I are moving for two weeks as the builders are coming into my house to put in a new kitchen and new central heating. At the moment I am packing all my things from the kitchen in cardboard boxes.
Wammes has decided he wants to be packed as well but he is a bit too big for the box :-)

Christmas break is over and it's time to pack up and go back to our schedules. It has been a great two weeks to enjoy the holidays and now it's time to get back to our routines after a nice time off.

I sell these wonderful yarns from Avril Japan in my shop and I use them to wrap presents, in combination with the Italian papers. They make the most beautiful parcel - and I don't use very much of the paper, just a little square, enough to get the feeling.
Moving out of the old office last year. Sure miss the cathedral outside our window. Co-workers Pierre and Cindy.
