ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti preparing SpaceX Dragon cargo capsule for a return to Earth. She shared these images to her social media on 17 August 2022 with the following caption:

Have we got everything? We spent countless hours packing return bags even before our cargo #Dragon arrived, & now it’s almost fully loaded! Including a lot of powered lockers (in the pic)… fridges, freezers, animal habitats.

This was the first Padme costume I replicated. The hair was probably the most challenging portion but with 2 last minute hours and spray adhesive it managed to come together! #dualstarcosplay #starwars #padme #cosplay #amidala

Pupito is ready , however I have a lot to pack ....!!! : )

Hey look, I still have dolls! Actually, I haven't really paid much attention to them for the past few months. I know I should probably sell half of them, but then I just want to keep them as pretty nicknacks. I have the silliest reason for keeping Sasha (his boots are really cute, lol)

I finished my job on Mothers day and don't have another lined up yet, I'm wanting to learn how to drive, I have to go to the dentists and see if I can have surgery to fix my jaw... So I could use the money but meehh. I really like them aha.

Anyway! I am moving to Cornwall on the 25th of this month, so I'm busy packing. For some reason we don't have enough boxes? We have less stuff than we came over here with and kept all the boxes so that's really odd :'D

I spent two days so far packing my room and I swear other than there being no pictures on my wall you can't tell that I've filled 4 boxes and 2 bags full of crap to throw away, I feel like it will never end!

This is my 10th move so you'd think I've be a professional at packing, but it's more like "meh throw everything that will fit in that box"

These guys will be waiting to travel down with me, though. I don't like the idea of them in a van :T (she says after they spent 3 months at sea in a chest of drawers)

I ramble too much ;x;

But yeah that's what's happening in my life atm

bombombombom.

Oh and there are more of these on my tumblr; patchworkowl.tumblr.com/post/45419611807/im-so-bored-of-p...

So yesterday we finally started packing and we only have 15 more days left to be out of here. Unfortunately we are kind of going to have to move twice, first into Storage and then on the 30th into the House. The Cats and Dogs are already starting to freak out because they see the boxes being stacked and the House getting emptier and emptier...

Our trip fast approaches, so packing is in high gear. No time for fancy photos.

Nature's early-morning space packing.

And so begins the very long process of packing hundreds of LEGO sets, fun.

Kiska sneaked in to my case during the packing for the Christmas holidays, perhaps hoping for an overseas trip.

She stayed there for about an hour - quiet and stealthy - but probably knowing that she wouldn't be coming with us :(

Quirky in Camden 1 of 2.

For some reason reminded me of a boxing glove...

While we were packing yesterday, this little spider crawled from a box we'd saved in the attic. Of course, I ran for my camera.

Despite its eight legs, the spider did not help us pack.

Packing for family Vacation! Spring 2015

Squeezing the air out in preparation for packing it up.

Super macro view of the inside edge of a roll of clear packing tape, using the combination of my Samsung zoom lens held looking into a reversed 55mm Pentax lens.

I'm going to see a friend for the weekend. I pack a lot, apparently.

Haven't been somewhere overnight in a long time...perhaps that's why.

Missing, iPod charger, cell phone charger, and Howard Stern's Miss America Book.

It will take a little bit more time until they are shipped... ;p

On a visit to Kaiapoi looking for Giraffes November 28, 2014 New Zealand.

Kaiapoi is located approximately 17 kilometres north of central Christchurch, Kaiapoi takes its name from the Māori pā (fortified village) which was built just north of the site of the current town around the year 1700 by the Ngāi Tahu chief Turakautahi. Eventually to become the largest fortified village in the South Island it lay on the site of a stronghold of an earlier tribe, Waitaha whose history and traditions Ngāi Tahu eventually adopted.

Giant fibreglass Giraffe sculptures, reaching 2.5 metres high, are now standing tall on the streets, parks and public spaces of Christchurch and surrounding areas until 24 January 2015. At the end of the public art exhibition, in February, the Giraffes will be auctioned so we can all be part of raising money for local charities and turn the city’s Summer of fun into a helping hand for those who are in need.

Ricky : "Unless you've got some Mary Poppin's magic Mom, my stuff is NOT going to fit in this.."

Me : "You can put some stuff in my bag."

Ricky : "Oh you want to trade?? I don't think I need the whole big bag but okay, if you insist Mom. You're a peach! You use this pretty lavender one and I'll take that huge ugly blue one..."

Me : "Nice try."

all the stuff i'm taking with me for my 10 week trip to NZ's winter.

West Mersea,

Essex.

TAKEN - 7.41p.m Mon 10th Aug '20

West Mersea is a small town and electoral ward in Essex, England. It is the larger (In terms of population) of two settlements on Mersea Island, south of Colchester. The smaller settlement on the island is the village of East Mersea.

There's a story here. I was passing through Taupo (that's in New Zealand) a few weeks back, and took a walk down by the lake, and photographed some black swans on the grassy bank. In the middle of that, this guy shows up, running around, posing, waving his arms, and saying nothing at all... and then just leaves.

I asked some of the locals sitting on the bank, and they told me that no one knows who he is. He appears every now and then, prances around a bit, and disappears again. They assume he might be a local teenage boy.

Aletta and Denver have decided to leave their apartment in L.A. and move someplace safer to raise little Elin. Taxes and crime are on the rise, the urgency to get out a pressing matter.

Happy New Year to all my Flickr friends.. have a great evening and well catch up with you all next year!

I took a walk into the city this afternoon.. first day without rain in just about a week! I came across some really interesting things.. this one of them! I could see he was up to something but had to be fast to catch him.. as soon as I took this he started packing up and left!

Packing up a bit of food for a local school who has several families in need. Gotta eat to keep that brain learning!

Take Aim: circles challenge

Randomized square packing. This is an idea that I've had in my head for awhile, finally worked out to some extent.

This is a concept that I'd like to revisit, with a little more planning before I start folding. (those rows along the bottom and side? sure, of course I intended that.... :-P)

-- are you sure we don't have any larger suitcase?..

lol Tweety Pie is packing up all the things she thinks she'll need at the seaside :)
