Packing for my trip to Thailand!

this is just like tetris.......homer simpson taught us well.

I just got this room put together this year. And now it's 99.9% packed up. Progress is being made. I'm being very responsible.

Change is hard.

Packing for NYC. So glad to finally get rid of this unused plane ticket to f*cking Boston. So excited to meet up with some friends.

(as if I could just take a bathing suit...!) Tomorrow this will be full with all the trappings of real life. But for now, as far as I'm concerned, I'm just going for a swim....

Ian busy stacking the chairs inside the bar area, before we roll down the steel shutters.

The light fittings are all wrapped in plastic bags and sprayed with WD-40 to prtect against the winter damp.

Everything inside the bar is packed away, all appliances and surfaces protected by plastic sheeting, and all the tables and barstools placed on the bar counter or in the bar area.

My 2008 Photo Diary

Snow-Proof Safety Cone was a little worried I would forget him, but I reassured the lil guy that I only forget the UNimportant things--toothbrush, passport, pants--and that because I am who I am, he would never be left behind.

He hopped in my suitcase anyway, but he definitely rode in the cup holder or in my lap most of the time.

This is how I roll. There is a cake stand under the scarves and the yoga mat.

I do not do yoga.

The yoga mat is good for some situps and leg raises.

I admire some who do. I have a friend who helped me move another time who does a lot of yoga.

I saw her do three flights of stairs with boxes all day. Core strength. I was impressed.

I may be out of internet range until I figure out the new place.

Not really completely out. There is a McDonald's nearby. Free wifi with the dollar menu.

T-minus 12 hours

Sometimes I take meticulous packing photos. I always enjoy them more after the fact. I was making gear decisions down to the last minute before this trip so there was no neat arrangement.

Over all my gear choices worked well. Any modifications would have been minor.

Packing for a holiday. I will be staying in a series of relatively isolated huts and cabins, so I need to make sure that I have everything I need.

...sort of a test run, really. I'm packing for Steampunk Night tomorrow after work!

I am bringing those boots and the uniform to Mexico though, for reals!

One hour later it fits in a couple of Ziploc bags!

I know I haven't posted lately but I promise new pictures are coming! I'm currently packing for my two week trip to Europe so after this busy month I had I can't wait for all the fun and exciting adventure. I've come to find travel photography to be one of my favorite things (: so bear with me and expect new things in the next week or so!

Way too much clothes this time :)

Here I'm packing for my first vacation since I worked for Jubii (Lycos Europe) - And even back then vacations wasn't something I did much of.

Actually think it goes all the way back to when I was a cabinet designer for computers (8 years ago or something like that -since my last real vacation).

I think I have some kind of problem :D -I'll make up for it this year...
