All this packing is driving me bananas.

Even the packing information is classy.

I'm sure everyone knows what these are. Another necessary evil when packing. I've had these things get all over the place and they do love static electricity! But they are great packing material none the less!

Through the magic of bundle packing (I was skeptical at first!) and a compression bag, all the clothes on the bed (plus another tshirt for pjs) fit into this bag which is a cylinder of 14 inches long and 9 inches in diameter!

I'm still doing that laundry so I'll need to add a sweater, a pair of leggings, and another pair of pj pants (plus anything else I might've forgotten) but there's lots of room to spare in this bag.

Here was what my whole life looks like packed in the trunk of a car. :) Well, of course, along with some extra camping gear and food for the 3-day road trip.

More photos from the Blackfoot Farmers Market, recently closed for business... This it the original location of the Calgary farmers market dating back to the 1970's, now it looks like the entire site will be abandoned... The buildings have been purchased by one person and will be moved...

k } mini road trip for the weekend!

Arriving at China Beach parking lot and all the gear thrown out on the ground. Somehow I have to fit all of that gear (for 5 people) into "5 packs", one monster pack for me, one large pack for Kiah, one medium and light weight pack for Stac, a pack for Sofi with a pad and sleeping bag and one tiny pack for Miles with just his sleeping bag.

it's spring break! what and who should we bring?!

I was too trusting and didn't take pictures while the box was still sealed. However, this is roughly how the package arrives. The Mac itself is in a smaller box and is held fairly securely in that using generic foam inserts that keep the Mac held in the middle of the package, away from the top and bottom by a couple inches each. That smaller box is packed in the larger box with brown paper stuffing. The larger box is rated 32 lbs./inch
