Sometimes I take meticulous packing photos. I always enjoy them more after the fact. I was making gear decisions down to the last minute before this trip so there was no neat arrangement.
Over all my gear choices worked well. Any modifications would have been minor.
Packing for a holiday. I will be staying in a series of relatively isolated huts and cabins, so I need to make sure that I have everything I need.
...sort of a test run, really. I'm packing for Steampunk Night tomorrow after work!
I am bringing those boots and the uniform to Mexico though, for reals!

This are hands down the best warnings/instructions I have ever seen on a roll of packing tape!
"This item is manufactured for the purpose of sealing carton boxes and packing door-to-door delivery packages, small packages etc.
For other uses, please confirm the safety.
Don't place the tape directly on the walls, furniture, automobile, glasses, or skins.
Never use it for electric insulating purposes.
Don't place the tape on the thermal paper, carbonless paper or diazo paper. The letters may be vanished.
Remove oil and water from the surface that you want to tape.
The cut on the edge of the tape may cause the tear of the tape.
Keep it in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Keep it in a place inaccessible to children.
Do not use for any other purposes.
Dispose of according to the waste disposal classification by each municipality."
Rewrote the packing procedure to reduce gaps, without breaking the chronological ordering. No captions yet, but as before, series start date (accumulation date here) runs top to bottom.
