Polymer clay bracelet, inspired by the types of cookies you can find in a Finnish store (2012)
Materials: polymer clay beads made into the likeness of cookies found in Finnish stores (like Domino, Ballerina, Doris and Jaffa) as well as strawberry chocolate cake and a pink cupcake, two left over plastic beads, chain made out of "inherited" links, and an "inherited" clasp.
I'm not a fan. Don't own the cd's, not even a single mp3. But I do know his music a little bit. And as I am on holiday with a big fan who discovered there was a concert nearby where we'd be ... he had to go. And I had to follow.
Great show, good voice, at times very funny. The House Of Blues arena is small and cosy and has a great soundsystem. Reminded me of Leuven's Het Depot (albeit only 2/3's of the size) with a balcony like the AB in Brussels.
After the show we had passes to go backstage for a while. Meet the man, get something autographed. We had nothing more than our passes.

First off, it is not real blood! While sorting thru clothes at the orphanage, Lynn found a men's bathrobe that reminded her of the Rocky movies from the 80's. Evens, always willing to make people laugh, put on the robe, let us tape his knuckles up, and put ketchup on his face. He doesn't understand why, just that Lynn and Leann though it was very funny! He is such a great kid!

A privately owned historic house that became a hotel in 1856. It stands on the site of grand Royal Palaces of Henry VIII and Elizabeth I. The great cedar tree was planted by Charles I to celebrate the birth of his son, Henry of Otelands.
It is the perfect site for weddings. On the odd occasion being there, I noticed weddings going on (only there for family get togethers every couple of years)

Charming Emmetts Garden is an Edwardian estate that was owned by Frederic Lubbock, becoming both a plantsman's passion and a much-loved family home.
The garden was laid out in the late 19th century, and was nfluenced by William Robinson.It contains many exotic and rare trees and shrubs from across the world.
Standing on one of the highest spots in Kent, Emmetts Garden offers panormaic views over the unspoilt Weald as well as some great walking opportunities.
When you visit, you can explore the rose and rock gardens, take in the views and enjoy shows of spring flowers and shrubs, followed by vibrant autumn colours.

Owned by multinational company Jardine Matheson, the Noon Day Gun, made famous in the Noel Coward song Mad Dogs and Englishmen, is fired off by a Jardine employee at noon every day. youtu.be/DXxL2K3_-4c
The gun is located on the waterfront in Causeway Bay, where Jardine used to have warehouses, known in these parts as godowns. The one-gun salute tradition is said to have started when a Royal Naval Officer who was new to Hong Kong became annoyed at the tendency of Jardine employees to fire off a gunshot when the head of the company sailed into port – gun salutes being reserved for military commanders only. As punishment, Jardine were required to fire a one-shot salute every day at noon, for perpetuity.
The company has kept to the deal and the Noon Day Gun has become a local tradition and attraction for visitors. Noel Coward even dropped by to fire it off once.
