It's a Christmas wreath, however it was seen on a rural walk away from any housing, at Easter time, so a bit of a mystery how it came to be there.

The Erie Railroad's Youngstown bypass must have been quite a place during its day. Even into the Erie Lackawanna era it hosted heavy freights. Today, very little of it is in use. This segment in Warren was last used by the Ohio Central to access the Erie's mainline to Akron and Chicago, but trains haven't used this route for a good decade or so. The turned signal head suggests that even when the OC used these rails, the signals had been decommissioned.

I love taking photos of objects or things that appear out of place, and this boat although it was probably placed here, it definately is out of place.

The mosquito screen is still in one side of the window and that makes it look a bit blurry.

After a long day of skating street with a crew that rarely gets together, a ride home in the back of the truck was needed. Lights, cool breeze, it was relaxing. Shot this on the freeway. I like out of focused lights.

Now, the design is starting to show a bit :) When I'm working with a block like this, to keep the orientation right, I keep a little sketch of the block next to my sewing machine. I had sewn the tops and bottoms for five blocks and then, looking at my paper, they were all wrong! Then I saw that the blocks were right, but the paper had turned - taped that little critter down real quick :)
