This picture was a great shot that I happened to see when I was just messing with my camera. I looked up to see this and my grandparents walking down my great grandpas farm.

This was one of the Views Katie got whilst she was in hospital. It is through 3 windows thus the interesting reflections. Started out as 9 images 3 x possition by 3 x exposure.

I had a go too: it was great low down, as in the first pic, but it was quite unpleasant higher up. Quite a shock, as you can see!
NO substitute for the real thing, and as it has digital controls almost certain to go wrong as soon as the warranty runs out.
At least if your masseur dies on the job (so to speak), the money already spent is not wasted.
Adult eagle takes a branch to nest. Since nest is intact, perhaps it's to show the chicks how their house is built.
I just had to have a go at stringing her together. I'm REALLY impatient.
She will be strung with springs, but I have just strung her with hat elastic to see if she worked. I have strung her kind of like a resin doll (from the head), so the tensioning is all wrong at the moment as it wants to pull 'up' and not from each joint (if you get what I mean).
Turns out, it's cold in Big Bear. I made a fire (after a lot of effort). My original photo-a-day idea was a star trails picture, but there were no stars out on this overcast evening.
2013 - SBDR / BGCO Disaster Relief - Boulder, CO 2013 Disaster Relief - Boulder, Colorado Flooding (Debris Removal)
From September 9 to September 15, 2013, storm system stalled out over the eastern Rocky Mountains resulting in 17 inches of rain in Boulder county over those five days. Normal rainfall for the year is 20 inches. Massive flooding resulted from runoff and from street flooding.
Shortly thereafter, Southern Baptist Disaster Relief started sending teams to assist residents in addressing the aftermath of the flood. These images are from the trip of the first Southern Baptist Disaster Relief mud-out team to the location.
Got out today, 10-09-2021 at about 9:30AM.. Hiked out to one of my spots, and then hiked out to a few spots I've never been out to before. There's so many cool areas around here. I need to find a spot where all four rails come together. As it is now, there's two busy rails, one kinda busy and another that many one or two freight roll by during the time I'm there. Two tracks together, one about a 1/4 mile away, and another about 1/2 mile away. I can't just be running between all of them. I'm too old and slow. Caught some wall graff I hadn't seen before, and also hit up a bunch of my usual spots, and saw all the changes that had taken place since the last time I'd been out there. Reminder: Pick up your fucking cans/trash. Keep throwin' your shit out there and they'll start crackin' down! It's a beautiful area. Let's keep it that way.
After straightening and fixing photos from the 9th, it's already 10-21, and I'm doubting I'll be able to get out again before the end of the month. Is this what happens when you're back to work. Benching once a month? This sucks.

This image was taken in the Victoria Gallery Building in Liverpool. This is the image as it came straight out of the camera, however I wanted a much more creepy effect (see the edited version adjacent to this in my photostream).
The first problem with this is that, as the building has been recently renovated, it contains modern doors, ceiling spotlights and bright red paint. These had to go. Then the colours were far too vivid - so I used a large amount of desaturation on the image to tone the colours right down.
Compare both and feel free to comment to tell me what you think.

This guy was hanging out on the street in front of our house. Didn't seem a suitable place for a butterfly. Kind like a Monday - that's not a suitable place for me. Especially since I had to work until nearly 1am last night. This is going to be a lonnnggg day.
BTW I looked at my photo stream this morning and saw the picture of breakfast I posted a few days ago had a lot of views. I wondered why... Then I noticed the title I had used. Clear evidence of what people search for on Flickr. ;)

This is another Canon FD 50mm 1.8 reversal. I'm in love with the bokeh from this lens. =)
