I stumbled across this abandoned out door pool (lido) near gilsland spa hotel. The pool is full size with a deep end 7' ish and a shallow end of about 4' with brick steps to get in and out. There is a trough along some of the sides and there is evidence that there was a bar along the side of the pool. The people at the B&B we stayed at said they used to swim in it when they younger (40 years ago) and that the gardener / maintenance man emptyed the pool in autumn and filled it in late spring and kept the water and area clean . The pool was for the hotel guests and was busy at one time. But as we know the british climate has brought about the demise of the Lido.

this one came out great! look at xindy's awesome fuschia dress! her lip gloss/lipstick combo totally matched it too. that's exposition park behind her. it was closed though, so we couldn't go in. so we took pics AROUND it, lol.

with my sx-70's manual focus, i was able to focus so clearly on xindy.
