Once upon a time this was how we phoned home to say, come pick us up :))
Once I escaped from the cell, I had no idea, where to go. I started to run, not knowing in which direction to go.
I picked up a knife on the run. One of the smugglers had left it on a table. I heard the smugglers, shouting at eachother. They were close. I had to find a way out of the prison. Suddenly I had an idea: The other prisoners could help me. I sprinted to the next cell. There was a man inside. He was surprised when he saw me. I looked at the cell’s energy shield. There was a controll panel nearby. Without thinking I cut through the case, searching for the power cable. There it was ! I cut through and the energy shield switched off.
„Come on ! Get out the cell !“ I shouted.
The prisoner jumped out of the cell and lunged at the smuggler, appearing at the corner of the hallway. Good ! This would make my escape a lot easier. I opened the next cell...

My second build for the restarted group „The Jedi Order“.
Really impressed by the people in Japan. Everyone still in good order in this tough time, to get food, take the public transport, help each other.....
They show us their unique discipline and courtesy.
They taught me a great lesson.
There are some structures in this world that by their sheer size , are impossible to capture on film as the eye actually sees them.
New York City's Hell Gate Bridge is perhaps one such structure , one of a very few urban vistas that can dwarf a freight train and make it look like a toy .
Originally the " New York Connecting Railroad Bridge" it crosses the Hell Gate, a strait of the East River, between Astoria in Queens and Randalls and Wards Islands in Manhattan.
The main bridge is the largest of three bridges that form the Hell Gate complex. Together with approaches, the bridges are more than 17,000 feet (3.2 mi) long.
Conceived in the early 1900s to link New York City and the
Pennsylvania Railroad PRR with New England and the New Haven Railroad NH , (via Penn Station and the Bayridge car floats) The Hell Gate was seen as such a vital link to the US wartime economy that the Nazi's targeted it for sabotage.
As a child I remember seeing New Havens EP5's and E33's on the bridge ,as well as assorted diesels including GP9's RS11's and H1644's.
As PC took over and the traffic to and from New England was routed through Selkirk and the River Line , freight operations over Hell Gate gradually declined .
In the early 70's I remember seeing ex NH U25'bs as well as 4 unit lashups of F7's and GP9B's, then gradually more modern GE and EMD 4 axles on the Selkirk- LIRR symbols LI2/ LI4 and Oak Point to Fresh Pond transfers.
Seeing freight on the bridge is pretty difficult these days.
P&W's Cedar Hill stone trains (FPCH-CHFP) use it , as does CSX -LIRR transfers, but mostly in darkness. Photographing one on the bridge is next to impossible due to lack of vantage point and no clear schedule. ( yes I am also scared of heights )
You can imagine my surprise this particular morning at 0849 when I encountered two SD40's and SD60I wide open enroute to Fresh Pond while dropping my wife to work in Manhattan on the JFK /Triboro Bridge.
" OHHHH so that's why you asked me to drive"..actually I had no idea..lol besides I was shooting into the sun...but quickly realized the potential to capture the classic SD40 sillhouette .
(I don't know about the rest of you..but the SD40 ranks as another one of my favorite diesels and the SD60 is always preferable over a any GEVO..)
BTW the sound of "old school" EMD sounded amazing over the traffic.(which was barely moving ) .

While sending a package, this woman was also ordering something on her mobile phone. She began placing the order while waiting in line, and continued even though the sales clerk right in front of her needed answers and payment from her. I was not a fan of that. ODC: order

My dollshe order arrived! Just under 5 months, which as I understand it, is speedy for dollshe, lol! His body is Arsene's body (I have Arsene's head too but he won't be staying.) And the color and fit is perfect! I'm using one of the neck adapters that came with the Neil head. Weee so cute! He stole one of Theo's shirt (I believe it is Iplehouse SID sized) and is wearing 70cm pants from dollheart that obviously don't fit but I couldn't stand to see his junk hanging out. I tried EID sized pants on him and they are just way too big, I'm going to order him some SID sized pants. My EID are also too big for my Venitu, Theo, so I think squeezing them both into SID pants is the way to go.
Isn't Gideon lovely!? I think he looks like an angel.

Numerically the last of an order of ten new Dennis Tridents for Hull in 2006, replacing a versatile fleet of Leyland Olympians and ex-KHCT Dennis Dominators, the number of Dennis Tridents - not counting the loan-in's - has dwindled down from a fleet of 43, some from London (one of which burned down on Summergangs Road), some from Manchester, and some like this bought new for Hull in 2006, down to a fleet of eleven, now surplanted by too many E400MMCs to count. And so, I pose the question again - with rumoured looming fleet movements in Skegness and Gainsborough, how long do the last eleven ALX400s have left here? Probably a few more years in them as they come up to fourteen years of service this year, but come next year, don't be surprised if they're withdrawn for newer vehicles...
A photo taken yet again from Kingswood Retail Park but on a different angle this time, Stagecoach in Hull's 18435, a 2006 Dennis Trident Alexander ALX400, having recieved a recent repaint that has apparently done away with the side logo entirely - maybe because we use 'Simplibus' signage now? - turns around at the roundabout to go into the Kingswood Retail Park bus stops as it serves a 6 on the Kingswood Circular. Note that this bus once wore a brilliant heritage Hull Corporation Transport livery commemorating 110 years of Hull's buses. How about something for 120, eh, Stagecoach?
Seen at the Newark airport: tablets for displaying menus and ordering food at every seat. Once you finished ordering the tablets also provided news, magazines, and games (none of which interested me enough to try).

Hi everyone!
I decided to open a few orders for Abyss. However I couldn't cast lots of dolls (I have a full time job) and so I take few places during these preorders!
To start, I will open only 10 places.
Beware : preorders will be open on flickr and on the french forum matérielceleste (so less than 10 places for flickr only for example!)
To be fair, I will proceed with the "first one, first served" basis, with a small waiting list in case of cancellation within the first 10.
For these pre-order, I will proceed with the email address depths.dolls@live.fr only.
How it will happen?
The preorder will open on November 1st at 8 pm and will end on the November 4th at 8 pm (I will not accept mail sent before that day or that hour - French hour so it's Gmt + 1h).
To take an order, you have to write in your mail :
- Name / first name / nickname / origin (MC or flickr)
- Color choice (I will see it's possible), considering that I can make a monochrome doll, or the tail of another color. I don't cast in bicolor (two colors coexisting in the same piece).
- Customization choice (following acceptance).
Attention! each color is unique, I make my own blends. Do not ask me, "I want the same color as this one" because I couldn't make exactly the same.
I will inform the first 10, announcing the estimated time (considering that I will cast one or two dolls in the month). Those arrived after the first 10 will be notified and placed on a waiting list in case of cancellation. I will open the pre-order again when the first will be completely finished.
Price:
- 250 € monochrome doll
- 270 € the doll with the tail of a different color
- The price will not be different if the doll is requested without makeup. This is the most funky time for me. Cancel this step will not reduce the time of manufacture.
- Add shipping fees, calculated according to the method of delivery, the country ...
- Paypal only for international customers
- Layaways? Yes, in two payments maximum. If there is a cancellation of your order between the payments, I will refund you without 20% of the total price. ^^
- When the payment will happen? In the beginning of the manufacturing of your doll (I will contact you). I will not make you pay while you have to wait 3 monthes.
Dolls will come :
- nude, sanded and hot glued.
- Resin contain anti-UV, and will delay the yellowing of the resin (however, it's still inevitable with time).
- certificate.
