Between 8 1/2 to 11 3/4 inches in length. Reddish brown above with a white belly. 1 white stripe bordered by 2 black stripes on sides ending at the rump. 2 white stripes on back nuch thinner than side stripes. Dark center stripe down the back. Pale facial stripes above and below the eyes. Tail brown on tip and edged with black. Prominent ears.

The Eastern Chipmunk's habitat includes open deciduous woodlands, forest edges, brushy areas, bushes and stone walls in cemeteries and around houses.

They range from southeastern Canada and the north-eastern U.S. east from North Dakota and eastern Oklahoma and south to Missisippi, northwest Carolina and Virginia.

Built strategically in order to allow soldiers to control the large stretch of sea on which the city of Trapani flows, it is now possible to reach the Tramontana Walls.

On a wonderful day trip we experienced the superbloom at the Carrizo Plain National Monument in Central California. It's late in the season, so we drove on a dirt road to the top of the Caliente Mountain, where wildflowers were in full bloom. They were abundant this year thanks to the wet winter.

I processed a balanced, a paintery, and a photographic HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

The Hamilton District Chrysanthemum and Dahlia Society annual show includes dahlia blooms from the entire array of the ADS classification and is a highly impressive spectacle of size, colour, and form!

These blooms are “exhibition quality” and typically not found in local garden centres. There will also be a Design section of the Show which will highlight dahlias and chrysanthemums in various themes according to the Design Show Schedule. There is currently a judging school program running at Royal Botanical Gardens through GCO and many of the students are anxious to enter the show in order to achieve their credentials requirements.
