On that day I went up the mountain in the afternoon to photograph in the low light of dusk.
I met this stream of hikers descending, in groups but isolated at the same time.
It's a inusual photo and remains years later, one of my prefer winter photos, it could resemble the cover of a good book.

In quel giorno salii in montagna nel pomeriggio, per fotografare con la luce bassa del crepuscolo.
Incontrai così questo flusso di escursionisti che scendevano, in gruppo ma isolati allo stesso tempo.
E' una foto inusuale e rimane a distanza di anni, una delle mie foto preferite con la neve, potrebbe assomigliare alla copertina di un bel libro.

I had a dead deer in the ditch along the road. I hooked up a rope to it and drug it back into the woods with my tractor. The next day the vultures took care of it, but they do have a pecking order and these two were waiting their turn. Turkey Vulture in the front and a Black Vulture in the back. My backyard. Central Bucks, PA.
Hummingbird Moth.
Small with a 1 1/2 to 2 inch wingspan. Their wings are initially plumb-red to brownish black, but thwing scales drop off after the first flight leaving clear areas devoid of scales except along the veins. Their body is spindle shaped, mostly olive-green with plumb-red bands across the abdomen and rear tufts.
They inhabit forest edges, meadows and cultivated gardens.
They range coast to coast in the northern United States and also east of the Great Plains south to the Gulf Coast.

It was supposed to be a slice of regular imperial base, but guys from Brickzlab invited me to their Fallen Order collab and I simply couldn’t refuse it! The Order of the Garter is a British chivalrous society formed in 1348. It uses a circular belt or garter as its symbol. This old bottle of diarrhea remedy uses the same. I can only suppose you couldn't risk the runs wearing your armor and chain mail. Conspiracy theory? I think so. Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense.
I went to the railway station in Landquart to pick up my daughter arriving from London. We drove up to my hometown Schuders, located in the Swiss Alps near the Austrian border.
I processed a balanced and a soft HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

Beelitz Heilstätten was a lung sanatorium, built between 1898 and 1930 by the Berlin State Insurance Institution. It is one of the largest hospital complexes in the Berlin area and consists of an ensemble of 60 buildings on a total area of approximately 200 ha.
This image is from the house C of the sanatorium for men and is located south of the railroad station. Unfortunately, all buildings are nearly empty meanwhile.

this was taken ages ago but re edited lots :)
In June 2019 I drove by rental car from Milano Malpensa Airport to my hometown in the Swiss Alps. I decided to take the longer and scenic route over the Bernina Pass and Flüela Pass. While still in Italy in the Province of Sondrio I noticed a unique old town at the foot of a mountain. I left the express way to visit Forcola, a town with 800 souls, first mentioned in the 14th century.
I processed a paintery and a balanced HDR photo from three RAW exposures, merged them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, increased the contrast selectively, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
