Mit etwas Geduld war auch die ganze Spirale menschenleer zu kriegen :). Vor der Ausstellung (Out of Order) stand ein ticketgeiler Wachmensch. Erst war er etwas unzufrieden, dass ich so nah an »seinen« Eingang wollte, ohne aber das Ticket für die Sonderausstellung zu haben, erlaubte es aber dann nach höflichem Nachfragen, dass ich genau im Eingang stehenbleiben darf, denn bis dahin hatte ich ja das Ticket – und beobachtete dann geduldig bis amüsiert mein Vorhaben.

I'll admit that I had no idea what I was looking at here. I believe this is an insect that hatched from it's pupa the evening before, because it's wings have not expanded, but, I have no idea what that covering of what appears to be tiny eggs is. Add the morning dew, and I'll say I'm drawing a blank. Any ideas? Single image, handheld.
ADDENDUM: I posted this image to iNat. and here's what I found out. This is a beetle, not quite hatched to it's adult stage, but it has been infected and killed by a fungus. End of the mystery. Thank you very much for this ID marina_gorbunova.

In order to know these hills, I ought to set foot upon their earth in quietness, perhaps. At least that seemed something painfully necessary at the time. Instead I go through in the sealed train, looking out from behind glass. I am cut off entirely from the hills and they are fairly abstract. What do I know of them, or they of me? There is no necessity for me to know them, or for them to know me. If I am to know those hills, if their rock faces are to be more than blanks, perhaps I have to climb them, be lost in their woods. However, it is a terrible thing to ride encased in the glass, sterile, train asking the hills who they are, and being cut off from any real answer in a sealed tube of scientifically cleaned and heated air, not the same air as fills the bitter, hostile woods outside. When the hills go to answer, they are defeated; so is the questioner. The answer can’t get through the glass.

Trichonephila (plumipes or edulis?), a golden orb spider brightly illuminated against the overcast afternoon sky with her larder. Specimen was almost adult size but has gone, probably fallen prey to the house geckoes near my Gold Coast residence.
