The Aratech-Loratus light infantry utility vehicle (LIUV), commonly known as the First Order snowspeeder, is a versatile, general purpose vehicle tasked with patrol and transport across the surface of the Starkiller planet. Normally crewed by a pilot and a gunner, the LIUV is similar in nature to speeder trucks used throughout the galaxy, with the addition of a higher capacity generator for its specialised role within the First Order. I plan on maybe selling instructions for this build, what do you guys think of it? This is easily my largest completed MOC at 430 pieces, I've tried to be as accurate as possible. The clip pieces all over the speeder are to hold a railing in place, but flexible hoses are impossible to use on Studio 😥

Not a great shot, couldn't get the fronts either due to the queuing traffic, but pretty new nonetheless. In front is BX67 FTO (OPS120 I think)

My battalion was stationed as protectors of the people on Ryloth when we got our new orders. I hesitated at first to accept these orders, as they weren’t from our commanding officer or Jedi. I’d be able to tell if it was our Jedi, a young Palawan he somehow found his way to commanding a battalion. I wouldn’t be surprised if I was told his father was involved. Kiran Vanku, a representative on the senate for Ryloth. He was a human, and thus shouldn’t have authority of a Twi-lek planet. But his son, Kass Vanku was in the Jedi order and on Ryloth anyways. He hadn’t treated the Twi-leks with the respect they deserved. Often treating them as lesser peoples, sometimes threatening with his lightsaber. He talked in ways that were similar to how he talked to his own ranks. He was an obvious child of Coruscant leisure. Usually coruscant’s meddling politics had no effect on the Jedi ranks. But this must’ve been an exception.
So once we arrived on Coruscant after obeying orders from Palpatine himself. We were assigned with low level inspection. We were to wipe the 357th floor from the “surface” of the city. Other battalions and jedi led squads, were sent down to lower and higher floors at the same time. The noisier jedi were sent lower it appeared. As we made our way down a central street, a group of seemingly intoxicated Twi-leks walked in front of us. One stumbled and got in Kass’s way, Kass tossed the Twi-lek to the ground, I reach to stop him as the other 3 Twi-lek fell back towards their fallen friend. Kass makes the unneeded decision to light his saber. The street was illuminated in blue, frightened the 4 Twi-leks ran off into the dim lights of the Underworld. Kass deactivates his saber as both the blue light and the Twi-leks fade into darkness.
After searching for what seemed like hours, a twitch from my comm rang out, I looked around to make sure I was in a secure location, I had my two closest men at my side and Kass was ahead checking the end of the alley we were in. After all, it was Palpatine who glowed blue on the other side of my visor. “Execute Order 6-“ I shut the comms channel immediately.
My sidearm is pulled from the holster on my chest and I fire a blue bolt of light towards Kass. My visor blocks the hatred of my eyes, the calm and readiness I feel that will carry this bolt into his head. The bolt flies into his raised lightsaber hilt, sending it flying to the ground nearby. My hatred fading, and my calmness increasing, I slip my pistol into my holster. Then beckon towards the jedi , no longer beckoning to him as my jedi but as my traitor...my target. Flashes of blue fly from my side as CT-6435 and CT-7492 blast 2 bolts toward Kass. He falls, unable to comprehend what has happened.
My mind searches for the memories on Ryloth and the recent event here, on level 357. Two more bolts of blue light fly...and kill the 357th jedi left on coruscant.
Elephants are extremely sensitive to order, and the order shall be strictly followed. Always, the bigger and stronger first... the smaller and weaker next.

Order of the Falcon: Monastery by the Eastern Sea
🔳 50" x 30" x 46" (4' x 2.5' x 4')
🔳 50,000 - 100,000 pieces
🔳 120+ Hours
🔳 7 Weeks - Late April to Mid-June
🔳 First and last show at Brickworld Chicago 2022
🔳 Inspiration: The build is inspired in three large ways:
- Art I found online – check out my Instagram post to see it.
- Beautiful Christian buildings I've visited: Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in D.C., Church of the Intercession in NYC, St. Patrick's Cathedral in NYC, & Cathedral of Saint John the Divine in NYC
- My Love of the Lego Castle Theme: Always been present, especially in my childhood, but I've never really built in heavily. My favorite sets include: 7019 Viking Fortress, 10193 Medieval Market Village, and 7036 Dwaves' Mine. Most recently, I loved 21325 Medieval Blacksmith which is what set me on the Black Falcon kick.
🔳 Help & Support:
Truly could not have done it in the small window of time without some great people:
Simon Liu - did the beautiful and oft mentioned waterfall, the waves/shoreline, & other small details. Came out to Illinois early in advance of Brickworld to help get me across the finish line! Always cheering me on! Everyone needs an accountabuildibuddy!
Nick Jensen - graciously allowed me to come and borrow both the photo studio and a good deal of his time in generating these AMAZING photos. Also came over early pre-Brickworld and helped with any weird, small details I threw at him! An OG!
My friend Noah - did some great bush & plant repetition a week before the show. King!
Steve K. - came by during the wee hours of Thurs night / Friday morning of Brickworld and did something that I cannot remember now 😅 - I know it was important!
Dan L. - a CRUCIAL final Bricklink order!
Friends and Family - so grateful for all your support!
🔳 Credit Where Credit Is Due:
- The rounded bush in bright green used 4 times on the terrace and 3 times by the "river" was by fullplatebuilds in the Micro Trees post.
- The smaller trees on the front left and right of the terrace (best seen in image #1 in the carousel on the left hand side) was a modified version of cheeseystudios' in his great Hogwarts Courtyard build.
- Deer technique is an ever so slightly modified version of littlejohn_brickbuilt's in the fantastic Sabishi Monastery.
- I found the 5-flex-tube tree technique somewhere online but I cannot find it now! Fits in the base of 1 stud surrounded by stacked 1x2 rounded plates.
- Once again, 8th image in the carousel is the waterfall done by Simon Liu.
🔳 Some other random notes on the build:
- The MOC has a footprint of 96x192 in studs
- It weights approx. 50-60 lbs. Hard to tell!
- I was supposed to start in early March...started in late April 😬
- Lighting the stained glass was almost an afterthought. Unfortunately, the walls of the monastery are only 1 brick thick and has a lot of holes for light to peek through. I taped paper along the inside in order to plug these up.
- The story highlight on my profile walks through the entire build from start to finish!
Thanks for viewing!
A short IANR switch job pulled 3 cars out of the CFU storage yard in downtown Cedar Falls. Here she is going by the McDonalds on 1st street. This used to be the Rock Island mainline from Burlington to Manley, Iowa and saw many famous "Rocket" Passenger trains haul thru here. Now, due to road construction in the 90's it is just a spur line down to the Cedar Falls Utilities. Originally kept to enable coal deliveries to the CFU power station, that traffic does not exist anymore due to the conversion to Natural Gas. Now, the IANR uses the CFU yard for car storage, until the Cedar River rises, which they then promptly pull the cars out of.
Plumeria (common name Frangipani; syn. Himatanthus Willd. ex Roem. & Schult.) is a small genus of 7-8 species native to tropical and subtropical Americas. The genus consists of mainly deciduous shrubs and trees. P. rubra (Common Frangipani, Red Frangipani), native to Mexico, Central America, and Venezuela, produces flowers ranging from yellow to pink depending on form or cultivar. From Mexico and Central America, Plumeria has spread to all tropical areas of the world, especially Hawaii, where it grows so abundantly that many people think that it is indigenous there.
Plumeria is related to the Oleander, Nerium oleander, and both possess poisonous, milky sap, rather similar to that of Euphorbia. Each of the separate species of Plumeria bears differently shaped leaves and their form and growth habits are also distinct. The leaves of P. alba are quite narrow and corrugated, while leaves of P. pudica have an elongated oak shape and glossy, dark green color. P. pudica is one of the everblooming types with non-deciduous, evergreen leaves. Another species that retains leaves and flowers in winter is P. obtusa; though its common name is "Singapore", it is originally from Colombia.
Plumeria flowers are most fragrant at night in order to lure sphinx moths to pollinate them. The flowers have no nectar, and simply dupe their pollinators. The moths inadvertently pollinate them by transferring pollen from flower to flower in their fruitless search for nectar.
This Flower is Called Champa in your Country. Its tree is about 20 - 25 feet tall and very week if you climb on it, its branches will break. The Most Amazing Thing about this Flower is Lizard are highly attract this Flower and Rushes toward it Children use to fix this flower on the top of a wire and attracts Lizards . As the time goes on new colors and sizes are invent by the producers. They smell good. I have seen just Yellow color images on Flickr of this flower Love for all . Let see how you all find this one.

New Adventure Travel is in the process of receiving a second batch of ten Optare MetroCitys, following the ten that were delivered in the Spring for 'crosscity' Service X1 in Cardiff.
Those delivered so far have been split between Cardiff, Newport and Pontypridd depots. The pair at Newport also carry 'crosscity' vinyls and branding for Service N1 (Duffryn-City Centre-Ringland), and have allowed the two Mercedes Citaro C2s to be re-allocated to Cardiff.
YJ65 EOX passes the Newport Wave on the approach to Kingsway when operating an N1 journey to Duffryn in this mid November 2015 shot.
