Just a webcam shot of what ive been working on lately. Latex mask called the Operator, for upcoming film to be directed by myself and my friend joe.
This was the logo that was adopted for ScotRail as it moved towards privatisation in the mid 1990s. ScotRail - the brand name itself dates from 1983 - was the last part of BR to be privatised (April 1997) when National Express Group took over its operation. I seem to remember it was nicknamed the ScotRail “whoosh” and represented a highly stylised map of Scotland. NatEx changed some of the colour - the blue became purple and the yellow became green. When NatEx were replaced by First as operators of the franchise in 2004, it started to be superseded by the corporate ‘f’ logo of First Group.
From 1983 to 2005 this was the center of operations in Hoboken Terminal. The room was occupied by a team of operators who kept the place moving. All the remains is a defunct model board of the territory they once controlled.

Shot taken at Ancient Shiv mandir in Ambernath. Over 1200 years old. Built of interlocking black stone in the "hemadpanti" style. Covered with exqusite carvings. Has a "swayambhu" Shiv Ling. Some carvings are now falling off due to poor maintenance and neglect. The temple is the focus of a huge fair during Mahashivratri.
