This compact assault rifle, often called "Operator" is the best choice for short range combat. Light weight, compact size, 5.56x45 cartridge, 650RPM.
Was kinda doing shits with various parts in 0.6 and I somewhat like AR-15 stock as handguard. Probably best use for it anyway.
Oh, and that little silver thingy in EP area..... that is charging handle, on left side of bolt.
Been screencapped.
First attempt at some A-TACS, I have a snow day today, of coarse today was supposed to be midterms but what ever. The revolver is from Will. I also upgraded 2 of my DEVGRU figs with some new parts and paints. They could be up later today.

I thought I might start posting some of my scans on here from time to time.
I have quite an archive of photographs from my Grandparents that I enjoy looking through.
Unfortunately, I do not know much of the backstory to this other than that it shows my Grandfather, perhaps in the role of pump operator, at the rear of a 1966 fire engine. The hose reel has been deployed, but there does not seem to be a water supply to the engine, implying delivery from the first aid tank.

Karosa B734.20 Operator not confirmed.
Very few bus spotters would disagree that where Germany in the last three decades of the 20th Century was concerned surprises in the transit bus world were minimal. In the West, Mercedes and MAN ruled the roost while Krupp, Deutz and Magirus faded away and Kassbohrer and Neoplan pecked at the edges. The East was force-fed with Ikaruses (Ikari?).
So when I started to digitize this box of slides I discovered something remarkable. Three consecutive buses on Gotha Bahnhoffstrasse that were well outside the ordinary.
Karosa buses were almost entirely confined to Czechoslovakia and its two subsequent divisions. To find one running around in Germany is at least worth a comment. The Wikipedia page on this model describes it as having three doors as standard but this one has two.

On August 28, 1989, just a few days after Clee's retirement, we got word of a southbound inspection train coming down the CE&D. It was a gray and hazy day, but you've got to do what you've got to do. Operator Bobby McClara is coming down the steps for the rollby.
After the southbound train passed, we heard that there was a track geometry train coming north after meeting the inspection train. So we decided to hang out and wait, and ended up with a HUGE surprise.
The Magpul Masada, and it's birth child the ACR have been seen as a weapon that was not as versatile as the M4 it was designed to replace. One Sweetwater tech took it in his hands to make the weapon more versatile than any weapon on the market.
A universal lower receiver was designed, retaining many of the features of the ACR, this is the least changed part. The mag well is removable allowing varying mag wells to be attached to one lower. (To come in future)
The hand guard is attached tot he upper with a trademark pin system allowing for rapid removal. The rail system was redesigned, with purchasable rail sections that can be set securely to where ever the user desires.
The weapon still accepts stock ACR butt stocks, and barrels. This weapon features a buffer tube adapter allowing the use of the very popular M4 collapsible stocks, with a left side folding mechanism.
The fire selector supports; semi, 2-round burst, and full auto. It is fully ambidextrous. Other feature on this weapon include a ambidextrous non reciprocating charging handle, Troy Iron sights, and a Sweetwater low profile reddot sight.

Successor to the low-height Bridgemaster, the AEC Renown was possibly a case of the right product at the wrong time. By the time that it was launched in 1962, there were better solutions to the perenial low-bridge problem. Demonstrator 7552 MX was finished in Bradford City Transport livery and initialled trialled by that operator, which did not follow-up with a purchase order. It subsequently spent time with a variety of operators, large and small. before finding a permanent home with Burwell & District (24-Feb-16).
This is a digitally-colour version of an official AEC photograph from the collection of Jim Neale, but I have dropped in a new back scene because of the format of the original print (24-Feb-14)

Tempo operators are on the increase in 2019 ! One of them is Hams of Filmwell who have acquired this former Wolverhampton uni example for the 297 route. For the moment running in dealer white, it is captured at Pembury just to the East of Tunbridge Wells. From here it tracks generally in that same direction connecting many villages & small towns which lack any rail connections all the way over to Tenterden.
