Open Air Philadelphia was an interactive public art project. Robotic searchlights positioned on buildings overlooking the Benjamin Franklin Parkway moved in response to the frequency and volume of human voices recorded on messages.
The long-staying (just under 2 months now) Iceland Gull at Swannie Ponds in Dundee showed really well yesterday for quite a prolonged period, on the water and on the wing.
This photo shows the Wirgin with the stereo lenses removed and a hole cut between the stereo lens ports to allow the image from the center mounted panoramic lens to pass through the body.
The second great feature of this camera is it’s simple cast metal box design. When the stereo lenses and lens shroud is removed your left with a 4mm wide, recessed flange all the way around the front of the camera. This flange is so perfect all I had to do is make an aluminum plate with a hole in the middle to close up the front of the camera and give me a support for the new lens mount.
Both of the cameras I converted now use a Schneider 65mm Angulon lens but all I have to do is remove four screws on the lens spacer in order to switch to a different lens. There is definitely a 47mm Super Angulon in this camera’s future.
During a Jan. 23, 2018 open house staff talked to community members about the upcoming Sharpes Corner roundabout - we discussed the final design, phases of construction and Trooper Heather Axtman from Washington State Patrol was there to make sure everyone understands the rules of a roundabout.

On 7 October 2018 we opened the doors of ESTEC, our technical heart in the Netherlands, and welcomed more than 7600 people on a day full of activities including meet-and-greet with astronauts, tours around our test rooms, learning about the science in science fiction, and about the activities ESA does in all its establishments around Europe and beyond.
