This week's theme for Mosaic Montage Monday was Open/Closed. Since it happens to also be Earth Day, I thought I would visit one of my favorite wide-open spacious locations was like. I also wanted to see what the progress was like on the other side of the road. The development is happening slowly, but it's happening.

Pot dispensaries are the norm now. I don't partake, so I've never been inside one. I hear it can be quite the experience, and what's sold inside inside isn't your Woodstock grandma's pot.

I happen to like road trips, although I realize not everyone does. They impart to me a unique sense of freedom, and thoughts about what the day may or may not bring feed my curiosity.

I composed this image during a road trip that took me through Idaho and Montana. The day was young. The open road beckoned.
