Running without its smoke deflectors, K190 leads D3639 up the ladder track at Newport Workshops during Steamrails Open Day. K190 had only just received its new crimson colour over summer & this was its first public outing. 13/3/16

The second of three images taken on the main road (D474) between Vesoul and Dijon in Eastern France last weekend.
It was a day with mixed weather conditions, moving from bright sunshine to cloudy.
I spotted this ditch leading out into the field as i drove around looking for an interesting landscape to shoot.
It was just a case of waiting for the different lighting conditions before deciding when to take the photo.
Here most of the landscape before me was covered in sunshine.

32:365 - Open: The wind is blowing the clouds out tonight for open skies. A "quick" snap in between playing nurse.
Today, 6 August 2015, saw the fifth Emergency Services Open Day at the intu Trafford Centre.
The event saw members of Greater Manchester Police, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service , North West Ambulance Service and a host of other agencies and groups meet the public.
Despite less than perfect weather, thousands of people turned out to see a host of equipment and displays as well as taking the opportunity to meet the people who help keep them safe and secure.
The Force’s Chief Constable Sir Peter Fahy was on hand to help open the event and meet the public.
