Ancient entrance on Oxford High Street to All Souls college.
The foundations were laid in 1438, and the College's High Street front today gives a good idea of how the main part of the original College looked. The four-storey gate tower and the two-storey ranges either side of it remain essentially as built in the 1440s.
A lovely location for a wonderful building. Sadly, like many such structures, this building is no longer in use.

Quick snap on walk home from work last night, hadn't noticed the neon "open" sign on this diner door before (faces away from me as I walk home, but for some reason I looked back that night and saw it, so quick click on the camera, nice bright light at night)

I shot 1600 digital images today.
Working out the new macro lens was fun though an overcast day the lights work well, i took a lot of crap but some good work, i have to get used to the camera shake on the 1.2 macro mode, my hands shake a lot these days but when i hit it right it works, very nicely thanks very much.
I have a lot to work thru and will be shooting again friday with some learned lessons in mind about how to handle the lens and focusing, DOF is interesting. And boy it loves batteries. Those macro lights help the M50's usual battery chewing no end
