Fresh material. I've just returned home after attending and shooting the Open Stanza, a monthly literary soirée in Amsterdam - here, Mr. Julian Stannard reading from his book "Red Zone".

The highway seems to be swallowed up by the surronding countryside. Even the view from the car was majestic.

Bear in mind when you are looking at these photos that they are highly rendered and air brushed, I do not look this good in real life. I wish! lol
On a warm and sunny Autumn day, Stagecoach in Cumbria Dennis Trident / Alexander 17013 - S813 BWC is pictured in Windermere working a journey on route 599 to Grasmere. This early model Trident began life with Stagecoach London but has swapped the smoke for the clean, fresh air of the Lake District. This seasonal service runs daily into early November!
3pm makes it closing time at a restaurant in luoyang. our tour occupies the remaining two tables. the smoke clears as the doors swing open and the cigarette smoke clears as the tables are wiped down for tomorrow.

Early in December we went to the Industrial Center Building (ICB) in Sausalito for their Artist Open Studio Event, where you can visit the studios of about 50 artists, viewing their creative spaces and refined artwork. From sculpture to watercolors, oils to photography, the whole while rapping with the artists themselves. It was a festival for my eyes and my intellectual curiosity. The following series is from that day.
Hanging out in Kensington Market this afternoon, there are all kinds of short alleys with all kinds of cool artwork.

This is a close-up of the doorknob on the front door of the old building near Kinards, SC. I can't seem to get enough of rust and texture.
This is a frame grab from HD video using the Motorola Moto g fast camera.
It didn't take long for the guy driving the Cat to scoop up the cut branches and leaves and drive off with them down the street. They were placed in a huge metal bin at the end of the block, so we were denied the fun of seeing the branches and leaves put into a wood chipper. In the past, they've had the chipper close by. Don't know why they didn't this time.
