Leading a session with the West Michigan Forum with professional coaches. It was great to see how much happened in 10 minutes with Open Space Technology.
I facilitated another Open Space Technology session with the statewide organization, ICF Michigan, at the 2013 Annual Forum
Here's a quote from one of the attendees:
"I had the opportunity to participate in an Open Space ...where the theme was 'use of social media as a marketing tool'.
Very quickly, the group in attendance identified about 6-8 related topics and then off we went with the freedom to walk around and join in on any group conversation we wanted to.
In one corner of the room was a group huddled around and buzzing about Twitter while another was sitting on the floor talking about blogs.
I was interested in learning about WordPress at the time so I gravitated to a group discussing its use. A long time coaching colleague was also in the group and I learned she had just converted her website to WordPress. She generously offered to help me out which resulted in a couple of very insightful phone calls in the weeks after the meeting.
I really don't think I would have made this connection, and gained the insight I did, if not for the environment Open Space facilitates."

The statewide organization asked me to coordinate Coach Cafe' Ann Arbor. I was also on the planning team (and resident techie) for the ICF Michigan Annual Forum 2013. (Int'l Coaching Federation, for which I'm a member.)

Coaching by those external to your organization is recommended, as internal coaches and managers, while useful in providing support/perspective, may have PAAR, that is power, authority, accountability & responsibility for your work, and therefore may not be fully objective or fully able to support what is best for your development.

Ribersborg open-air bath (Ribersborgs kallbadhus in Swedish, also known as Ribban) is an open-air public bath on the Ribersborg beach in Malmö, Sweden approximately one kilometre southwest of Turning Torso. The bathhouse has separate areas for men and women and each area is equipped with saunas. There is a cafe and a restaurant.
The bath was inaugurated in June 1898 with initiative by C.A. Richter, who bought the old bathhouse at Nyhamn port, which was being sold because of the port's expansion. Four years later a storm damaged the new bath during Christmas and it was rebuilt. During the refurbishment a diving tower was added to the men's department, with a view of the strait and the women's department. During the 1930s it was modernised with nude bathing and confidentiality was added between the departments. In 1966, the City of Malmö purchased the baths. It was again damaged by a storm in 1988 and in 1995 it was declared a historic building.

More than 160 wrestlers, representing 33 clubs were in action at the Sports Campus Ireland National Indoor Arena in Blanchardstown.
The I.A.W.A' s biggest championship yet! Was organised on 3 mats with wrestlers from clubs around Ireland and the World!
There were wrestlers from Ireland, the UK, the USA and more!.

I didn't make any retouching on this one 'cos I liked the original framing, colours and sharpness so much... Do you like it this way or you'll change something? The truth is that this picture is one of my favourites of the festival (Wacken 2010) :)

It has everything you need to paint pictures up to any size when you add your own items.
You can paint 16" x 20" by using a watercolor light weight board.
Interesting signs on the doors of an "oldwares" establishment in Chiltern, Victoria. It was open the previous day and Ned delighted in showing us around. Well worth a look if you visit this former "gold rush" town.
Amtrak's Beech Grove Executive Car hitches a ride on the back of Amtrak 352 with the head of the FRA riding on the train. The BG is a special car that has an open air platform on the back.
This scissor tailed flycatcher is exclaiming "how the heck did I get here!" The breeding range for these guys is in the southern US - Texas and Oklahoma. So it was a surprise to see one in northern New Brunswick. This guy's tail is not very long so he may be a juvenile off on an adventure before returning to the 'customary' breeding range in the south.
In any event, it was a treat for me to see this guy - a lifer!
