The side of the shed was open, as we keep our yard supplies and Sam has some equipment in there. Something caught my eye and here a hummi flew in the shed. Little stinker....there's some big windows on one side and it was along the window trying to get out. So I reached up and tenderly got it. I had Sam come out and take a pic!!! First time in my life that I've ever had a Hummi in my hands!!! Boy did it ever take off!!! 😂
The highway seems to be swallowed up by the surronding countryside. Even the view from the car was majestic.
Fresh material. I've just returned home after attending and shooting the Open Stanza, a monthly literary soirée in Amsterdam - here, Mr. Julian Stannard reading from his book "Red Zone".
If you live in Amsterdam, if you're a poetry and fiction buff and if you understand the English words "soothe", "flutter" and "dissect", don't miss the Open Stanza. Every first thursday of the month at the Sugar Factory (more information here).

No intention of getting this image, although freely admit I have seen this shoe repair guy before and wanted to shoot him.
Am enjoying shooting from the hip. The perspective is interesting and makes hits and misses equally compelling at times. Have a heavy backlog of images and have been too tired of late to process.
Like this one.
