What we do have, though, is one another. We met by pure chance and have been around one another since. One year ago today, we made it official and we've given one another new lives in Second Life. I couldn't imagine taking this journey without you and I look forward to many anniversaries in the future.
Love you, Jess! ❤️

I think I'll make this my last share from Japan. Such a beautiful place with incredibly friendly and helpful people. Thanks for joining me virtually.. This was a street in Arashiyama on the outskirts of Kyoto.

Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge. 2/3 series on this college. Been a while since I played with focus like this.
This weekend I got myself a gift (early Christmas one) and bought the Topaz suite. So, I had to experiment with the different components and found one candidate in the archives. I have used Simplify, Denoise, and Detail on this one. Hope you'll like it.
Wishing you all a great week ahead!
My Flowers & Macro set.
As we walked back to the car I kept stopping to take in the view, poor dan was getting fed up waiting so went on ahead, I just didn't want to leave this magical place and this was my last photo . UNTIL NEXT TIME WE VISIT ST. MICHAELS MOUNT.

Just an absolutely awesome cloud show on Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes. One funny thing is that the locals here take the clouds for granted. They think it's just normal. I've lived in a lot of places, and I've seldom seen shows in the sky as spectacular as God puts on here. This day—Sunday, November 6th, with a steady breeze and ominously balmy temperatures—was an absolute standout. Really, people who were born here should appreciate it every day. They don't know what they have.

Trying my new sigma lens out. Not bad in low light, just need someone to hold a reflector for me :-)
totally inspired by the lyrics to this amazing song by U2
an oldie but a mega goody.. specifically this part-
"You say love is a temple, love a higher law
Love is a temple, love the higher law
You ask me to enter but then you make me crawl
And I can't be holdin' on to what you got
When all you got is hurt
One love, one blood
One life, you got to do what you should
One life, with each other
Sisters, brothers
One life but we're not the same
We get to carry each other, carry each other
One
One"
one eye goes laughing,
one eye goes crying
through the trials and trying of one life
one hand is tied,
one step gets behind
in one breath we're dying
(King Crimson)
Westlake Bay, Bovisand, October 2005. From memory, this was taken a few minutes after the earlier film version. I haven't processed this before as I had the other one..
When the world says, "Give up,"
Hope whispers, "Try it one more time."

There was no one in the station train, Darkness prevails the place because there was no light, maybe ONCF had no money to repair it, Anyway the atmosphere was cold and the silence reign the place. The train arrive after one hour of retard. One wagon brings many peoples who are going in the same road but every single one of them represent a story, a life, beliefs and idea, …
There is a lot of people who think we lives the same life, we have the same problems, or their problems are bigger than the rest … but no, it’s wrong if you think that! You know nothing about homeless, about rich people and I mean rich. You know nothing about people who are sick…
So don’t judge others or generalize.
and BE GRATHEFUL IF YOU HAVE A FAMILY, A FEW GOOD FRIENDS AND A ROOF OVER YOUR HEAD BECAUSE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING AND I DON’T KNOW IT UNTIL YOU LOSE IT.
