Macro Mondays theme: One word!
"Sooty"
Sooty was a well known TV Bear Hand puppet from 1955 to 1975.

A shot taken from One Poultry in London back in September, I took this as we were heading to Coq d'Argent which is situated at the top of this building.
The colour atrium windows are a big draw for photographers and you can get a decent abstract look up shot.
The present building at No 1 Poultry was completed in 1997, Designed by James Stirling, It's a postmodern structure clad in pink and yellow sandstone. The building consists of retail and commercial offices with Coq d'Argent occupies the roof with its outdoor drinking area and public viewing platform.
The rooftop featured in the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games in the segment 'Happy and Glorious' which saw Daniel Craig as James Bond transport Queen Elizabeth II to the Olympic Stadium by helicopter.
In 2016, following proposals to alter it, it received government recognition with a listing at grade II*, making it the youngest listed building in England

RBMN YJPI runs back from Crestwood with 1 car. Once they get into Pittston they pick up their load and add 2004 to the rear and shove 11 cars (14 after they work Mariotti) to Taylor Yard.
I do not know if it worthwhile disputing over the opposite sex but these 2 male common mergansers were trying to woo the hen to themselves

I made three copies of this picture and toned them in different ways.
They all turned out crap except maybe this one...
Toned it in selenium for 2 minutes and then in gold but I didn't think much happened, so I put it back in the selenium again, then it went quickly, had to pull it out after a few seconds when I saw what was happening. But the result might not have been that crazy.
The paper-white frame turned yellow-brown though, have to figure out how to get the white frame white again , if possible.

Toned in MT1 Selen for 2mins, MT10 gold 2 mins and then Selenium again 5 sec...

OME2673 YJ69DFO seen exiting Mornington Crescent working on route 134 towards Warren Street.
OME2666-2680 are 69 plated Metrodeckers still for route 134. Although the 134 is mostly allocated the type, the stopgap VMHs still cover for OMEs that haven't entered service yet, the two being OME2671 and OME2680. Also to note was some of the OMEs weren't tracking but this very one was.

In my garden, this is the only plant I do not know the name of!
I bought it on the market, years ago, it had a lovely photo of how it would become, no name though... shows again how deceptive photos can be, LOL. It is in fact tiny!
Anyway, it is very hardy, with insignificant small leaves, in late Spring... it grows insignificant little white flowers, mostly hidden under the leaves, in Summer it is ... just there?
Then comes Autumn, and the leaves turn on all the colours of the rainbow, for a few short weeks, two if your lucky with the weather, it becomes an ABSOLUTE focal point of attraction in the garden... pure GLORY... then it's gone again... till next year!
