From the disappearing XiNing Neighborhood of Taipei. Soon to replaced by skyscrapers and subways. By the looks of it, this was constructed during the Japanese occupation period. Going, going, gone.

This place must of once been in the money as their are a few private booths in here (rich people) Worth a look and as was the case last time (one year ago), it was open. Thanks for that Denston.

Πριν ο ήλιος χαράξει κόβοντας τον ουρανό στα δύο εμφανίστηκε ο Πέτρος κρατώντας τον άρτο του θεού στα χέρια του το πρωινό του κι έπειτα λίγο ελαιόλαδο ρίγανη τυρί από την συγκεκριμένη κοινότητα, και μπροστά του ο κύριος Scott σχεδόν νεκρός από την κούραση έτσι δείχνει αποκοιμήθηκε στα χέρια της.
Της προηγούμενης ημέρας δροσιά απογευματινή οδηγώντας τον στο χθεσινό βράδυ Σαββατόβραδό συνομιλώντας με τα πνεύματα του άλλου κόσμου κρασί που έπινε με τους υπόλοιπους εργάτες τρώγοντας της μάνας γης απλότητες, πατάτες βραστές ολόφρεσκα μαρούλια κρεμμύδια ψωμί και στο τέλος τα ψάρια της ερήμου.
Ξανά ροχάλιζε φοβίζοντας με το ροχαλητό του ακόμα και τα πνεύματα του άλλου κόσμου που εκεί κοντά του βρίσκονται αρέσκονται στο γεγονός να παρακολουθούν ανθρώπους λίγο πριν το τέλος της ημέρας, κατά τα άλλα γλεντάνε μαζί τους με τον κύριο Scott το προηγούμενο βράδυ να χορεύει μαζί με τους λύκους.
Πάντοτε μοναχικοί καβαλάρηδες που εμφανίζονται έπειτα της τελευταίας ηλιαχτίδας με τον ερχομό τους όταν κάποιος ανάψει το πρώτο τεχνητό Φώς περισσότερο ανάβουν κεριά μοιάζοντας σαν τα αστέρια του ουρανού καλοκαίρι, κι αν προσέξεις θα τους δεις στον ουρανό τι κι αν δεν φαίνονται εκεί βρίσκονται.
Ο κύριος Scott ήπιε περισσότερο από όλους λέγοντας ιστορίες για την κόρη του και σε κάποια στιγμή ξανά ρώτησε τον Πέτρο αν ζει κι αν βασιλεύει όπως τότε ενθυμούμενος στιγμές όταν τραγουδούσε, με τον Πέτρο να του απαντάει πως προς το παρόν ζει και μη με ρωτάς για αργότερα παράξενο το μέλλον τους.
Έπειτα νεκρική σιγή σχεδόν από όλους τους παρευρισκόμενους και στο βάθος το γυδοβύζι πουλί που τραγουδάει την νύχτα Αιγοθήλης ο ευρωπαϊκός το ακούς κύριε Scott τα λόγια του Πέτρου, μα αυτός μεθυσμένος από το πολύ κρασί κοιτούσε τη φωτιά που είχαν ανάψει ως ένδειξη τιμής της συγκεκριμένης νύχτας.
Πρώτα έψησαν τα ψάρια και στο τέλος το ψωμί κι όπως τότε έφτασαν για όλους τι κι αν στην αρχή δεν φαινόταν στο τέλος περίσσεψαν και για την επόμενη ημέρα με τα λιγοστά γατιά τριγύρω τους να τρώνε επίσης το μερίδιο τους, και πριν ο ήλιος την επόμενη ημέρα χαράξει εμφανίστηκε ο Πέτρος εργοδότης τους.
Πάντα πρώτος ξυπνάει όπως και τότε και στα χέρια του συνήθως έβρισκες της προηγούμενης ημέρας φαγητό κάμποσο ψωμί με ελαιόλαδο πρωινό κόβοντας στα δύο τον ουρανό και στο τέλος όπως πάντα φρέσκο τυρί, κάτι από την επόμενη ημέρα με την προηγούμενη να υπάρχει μόνο στις αναμνήσεις ενός συστήματος γεγονότων.
Έπειτα έκατσε σε μια παλιά πρόχειρη καρέκλα από αυτές που συνήθως μένουν κενές περιμένοντας στο βάθος να εμφανιστεί λίγο από το Φώς ο ήλιος ξανά ζωντανός τελικά δεν χάθηκε επέστρεψε, ακόμα πιο δυνατός καλοκαίρι καύσωνας με τον αέρα για συντροφιά να θροΐζει τα φύλλα κι έπρεπε να τα βλέπατε.
Λίγοι είναι αυτοί που στο τέλος έχουν δει τι πραγματικά βρίσκεται πίσω από το οτιδήποτε μπορείς να φανταστείς ιστορίες τις προηγούμενης ημέρας Σάββατο βράδυ, με τον Πέτρο κι αφού όλοι είχαν πιεί με το παραπάνω να τους λέει το οτιδήποτε δεν μπορείς να φανταστείς μα στο τέλος κανείς δεν θυμόταν τίποτα.
Κάτι σαν κανένας τους να μην βρισκόταν εκεί μα ο Πέτρος έκανε την προσευχή του συνήθεια του στο τέλος της ημέρας και ποτέ όταν προσεύχεται δεν το κάνει για τον εαυτό του, μα για τους άλλους περισσότερο για τους υπόλοιπους ζωντανούς με τον κύριο Scott ακόμα να ροχαλίζει περισσότερο από όλους.
Υ.Γ...Αιγοθήλης Ο Ευρωπαίος..."Το Γυδοβύζι Της"
The nests of the Swamp Sparrow are rarely built on the ground but instead are built about a foot above the substrate, often in water up to 24 inches deep. They are constructed among the stalks of cattails or in bushes and are rather bulky structures of grass with a finer grass lining..
Probably because it is restricted to wet and inaccessible habitats, rather little is known of the breeding biology of this small and relatively insectivorous sparrow. Apparently the female incubates alone, although the male has been observed feeding his brooding mate. The female lays between 3 to 6 eggs, and usually 4 to 5. The eggs are pale green with dots, spots, and blotches of brown. The incubation period is 12 to 13 days and the nestling period is about 9 days..
With COVID-19 essentially shutting down campuses all across America and the world, there are few normal days to be had. Like most of my colleagues at the University of Michigan, I have been working from home. There is also a "stay at home" order in the state that really strongly encourages people to stay in (to flatten the curve). In the Governor's order, we do have the freedom to participate in outdoor activities - as long as we keep a social distance of 6 feet. I keep at least enough room for the Holy Spirit to drive a car between me and anyone I am with. So today, I went to campus to see and feed my squirrel friends. This is the fourth time (and the 2nd time this week) I have made the "Squirrel Run" - I have missed them a great deal. So off to campus I went. I did not get within six feet of anyone NOT a squirrel. In regards to the squirrels it was a banner day and I took a lot of pictures during my short time on campus! Besides seeing all the squirrels and feeding them (with a big old bag of peanuts), it was quite exciting. I did see the squirrels in the scilla field near Martha Cook - though that seems to be past its prime (in regards to the flowers). I did not see the juveniles who are living in Hatcher Library in the brickwork or the ones by Mason Hall. However, I did see a mom with two juveniles on the South University side of the Law Quad. They were adorable. I also saw a momma over at Ross near the Bur Oak that did not move. I am sure she has babies around. Hope to see them soon. I saw one squirrel at Law who had mange - and I hooked him up. But I did not see Waddles. Hopefully next time. Be safe everyone - we will get through this. Zippori National Park, encompassing the ruins of the ancient Roman- and talmudic-era city of Zippori, is located in the rolling hills of Lower Galilee.
When Herod the Great was consolidating power over the country early in his reign (37 BCE) Zippori fell to him without a battle. After Herod's death (4 BCE), rebellions against the Romans broke out, which were quelled when Zippori was destroyed by the Roman governor Varus.
Zippori did not remain in ruin for long--Herod Antipas restored it so beautifully that Josephus Flavius described it as "the ornament of all Galilee." Later, Rabbi Judah Hanasi moved the Sanhedrin from Bet She'arim to Zippori, where he redacted the Mishnah in 220 CE. The sages of Zippori also contributed to the Jerusalem Talmud, which was completed in the fourth century CE.
Christians and Jews lived together in Zippori from the fifth century on. The presence of a small Jewish community there during the Middle Ages is revealed by a 10th-century letter found in the Cairo Geniza. The Crusaders believed that Ann and Joachim, the parents of Mary the mother of Jesus, lived in Zippori. Remains of the church they built commemorating St. Ann can still be seen.

Photographs from the first Hardy Half Marathon which started from Dorchester Rugby Club. The route went through beautiful Dorset countryside including the land around Hardy's Monument. The event was organised by Dorchester RIOT Running Club, Dorchester Rugby Club, Dorchester Lions Club and Casterbridge Rotary Club. It was sponsored by Parkers Estate Agents, NFU Mutual (Dorchester), The Dorset Brewing Company and the National Grid. All profits went to local charities, the main charity being the Farming Community Network. All money from the donated cake stall went to Mosaic Family Support.
