The first cases of rabies in Bali were reported in 2008. FAO established a technical assistance project with the Government of Indonesia with the aim of supporting national efforts to control the disease on Bali. This was to be achieved by establishing an effective programme to coordinate and facilitate rabies control with government agencies and partner organizations. As a result of the programme, human rabies cases were reduced from eleven per month in 2010 to just one per month the following year. Following a mass vaccination of dogs, there was another major reduction in 2012 and 2013, bringing the number of reported cases down to only one human case in all of 2013. The model developed in Bali is now being modified as appropriate and used in other affected parts of Indonesia to progressively control and eliminate the virus from the entire country.

الفصل الأول : عنوان هذا الفصل هو "الموقع الجغرافي" ينقسم هذا الفصل إلى قسمين الأول يتحدث عن وضع و خصائص هذه المنطقة لينتقل في القسم الثاني للحديث عن السكان في سوريا و لبنان و بهذا يكون أنهى القسم الأول المكون من 10 صفحات.
الفصل الثاني : و هو بعنوان "الخلفية التاريخية من العصر الحجري إلى افتتاح قرننا العشرين" و ينقسم إلى 3 أقسام الأول يتحدث عن الماضي القديم للمنطقة لينتقل للحديث عن فترة الحكم العربي لينهي هذا الفصل بالقسم الثالث الذي يتحدث عن سوريا تحت الاحتلال العثماني و هذا الفصل يبدأ بالصفحة 20 و ينتهي بالصفحة 35.
الفصل الثالث : بعنوان "سوريا والحركة الوطنية العربية في ظل الحكم التركي حتى عام 1918" و ينقسم إلى قسمين الأول يتحدث عن الحركة الوطنية قبل العام 1914 و الثاني يتحدث عن سوريا و العرب خلال فترة الحرب العالمية الأولى.
الفصل الرابع : بعنوان "الكفاح من أجل الاستقلال 1918-1936" و ينقسم إلى قسمين الأول يتحدث فيه المؤلف عن الفترة الأولى من الاستقلال تحت حكم فيصل من عام 1918 و حتى عام 1920 أما القسم الثاني فهو يتحدث عن سوريا و لبنان من عام 1920 و حتى عام 1936.
الفصل الخامس: بعنوان "سوريا و لبنان و الفوز بالاستقلال 1936 -1946" يشرح فيه الكاتب ما جرى في هذه الفترة في سوريا و لبنان حتى نالوا استقلالهم من الفرنسيين.
الفصل السادس : هذا الفصل بعنوان " الحكومة و الإدارة و الحياة الاقتصادية في سوريا و لبنان " يحكي في القسم الأول منه عن الحكومة و الإدارة أما القسم الثاني فيتناول فيه الحياة الاقتصادية .
الفصل السابع : عنوان " الثقافة و تطور الحياة الاجتماعية" و أيضاً هذا الفصل قسم إلى قسمين الأول منه يتحدث عن الحركة الفكرية و الثاني يتحدث عن تطور الحياة الاجتماعية .
الفصل الثامن : و هو الفصل الأخير يتحدث عن المواقع الأثرية و المناطق السياحية في كل من لبنان و سوريا و بهذا يكون قد ختم فصل الكتاب
The Feast of Corpus Christi, also known as Corpus Domini, is a Latin Rite liturgical solemnity celebrating the tradition and belief in the body and blood of Jesus Christ and his Real Presence in the Eucharist. It emphasizes the joy of the institution of the Eucharist, which was observed on Maundy Thursday in the somber atmosphere of the nearness of Good Friday.
The feast is liturgically celebrated on the Thursday after Trinity Sunday. By tradition, Catholics take part in a procession through the streets of a neighbourhood near their parish following mass and pray and sing. The Eucharist, known as the Blessed Sacrament, is placed in a monstrance and is held aloft by a member of the clergy during the procession. After the procession, parishioners return to the church where benediction usually takes place.
Clean Bread and Cheese Creek would like to thank Mr. Harry Shearer and his organization for his invitation to speak and present at the Baltimore Premier of his new documentary “The Big Uneasy” at the Charles Theater on July 19, 2011. Our interaction with Mr. Shearer as well as the way he handled challenging questions from the audience showed him to be very approachable, witty and with a great depth of knowledge on the many problems of New Orleans levy system. He communicated a myriad of data and facts to his listeners with his ever present (and famous) sense of humor while shedding much needed light onto the many shadowy areas concerning the Katrina disaster.
“The Big Uneasy” is scheduled to be available through pay-per-view, on-demand, Netflix and other similar venues in August. We highly recommend this very powerful and poignant film to anyone with an interest in New Orleans, the environment, or investigational documentaries. Believe me, you will not be disappointed.
On a personal note a few of the highlights of me evening aside from actually meeting and speaking with Mr. Shearer was when I was able to fix his microphone and he said, “You are a genius!” I also have to love when I told him I was from Clean Bread and Cheese Creek he remarked, “Now I know who you are, Bread and Cheese Creek has to be the best name ever!”

Nach der Landung mit dem Heißluftballon irgendwo im Nirgendwo waren wir das Highlight der Landbevölkerung. Kaum am Boden haben uns die Menschen umzingelt und mit Zeichensprache klargemacht, dass wir sie fotografieren sollen bzw. manche haben auch Fotos von uns mit ihren Handys gemacht.

The location beneath the rock, the hike to the Restaurant passing by the Wildkirchli cave, all this makes a visit at the cliff an unforgettable experience. This is why the authors of National Geographic printed the Äscher on the cover of their book «PLACES of a LIFETIME».
Students from College of DuPage composition courses showcased visual representations of their written works at the second annual “See Writing Differently: A Celebration of Student Writing.” The event featured the capstone research projects of more than 500 English 1102 students and included websites, podcasts, PowerPoint presentations, posters, brochures, videos and art created in conjunction with written works.

The 2014 Paralyzed Veterans of America Partner Conference was held in Washington, DC, April 22-23, 2014. On April 22, participants attended a Washington Nationals baseball game. The remainder of the event was held April 23 at the offices of Holland & Knight. Keynote speaker was Patrick Murphy, Veteran, Former PA congressman, from “Taking the Hill" on MSNBC.
