Minneapolis, is the county seat of Hennepin County, and largest of the Twin Cities, the 14th-largest metropolitan area in the United States. The Metropolitan area contains approximately 3.8 million residents. As of 2013, Minneapolis is the largest city in the state of Minnesota and 46th-largest in the United States with 400,070 residents.
Minneapolis lies on both banks of the Mississippi River, just north of the river's confluence with the Minnesota River, and adjoins Saint Paul, the state's capital. The city is abundantly rich in water, with twenty lakes and wetlands, the Mississippi River, creeks and waterfalls, many connected by parkways in the Chain of Lakes and the Grand Rounds National Scenic Byway. It was once the world's flour milling capital and a hub for timber. Today it is the primary business center between Chicago and Seattle, with Minneapolis proper containing America's fifth-highest concentration of Fortune 500 companies. As an integral link to the global economy, Minneapolis is categorized as a global city.
Minneapolis' name is attributed to the city's first schoolteacher who combined mini, a Dakota Sioux word for water, and polis, the Greek word for city.

The Museum of American Finance has a series of panels explaining the cause of the 2007 global economic/ banking crisis. The museum is quite frank about the proliferation of toxic assets such as the CDOs (collateralized debt obligations) and ABS (asset-backed securities) that caused a massive increase in personal and household debts since the mid-1990s.
The Western world has seen its personal and household debts soaring since the credit cards were first invented in the 1960s. These days, people buy everything on borrowed money using credit cards, personal lines of credit, taking loans out of the home equity, or whatever other fancy loans the banks invented for us.
It seems like the perceived "rise in living standard" in the past 20 years was mostly paid by borrowed money.

Soccer School, Argentina
The Star of Hope Soccer School in Saenz Pena in Argentina started in 2005.
It started to give young boys from the minority tribe Toba (also known as Qom) a possibility to do something useful with their spare time.
The soccer school today engages 70 young boys for practices and matches every week. The various teams are very successful.
Many of the boys come from very poor families and does not have their own pair of boots, but need to borrow for each match.

Charlotte is the most populous city in the U.S. state of North Carolina. Located in the Piedmont, it is the county seat of Mecklenburg County. Charlotte is home to the corporate headquarters of Bank of America, Truist Financial, and the east coast operations of Wells Fargo, which along with other financial institutions has made it the second-largest banking center in the United States since 1995.
Among Charlotte's many notable attractions, some of the most popular include the Carolina Panthers (NFL), the Charlotte Hornets (NBA), the NASCAR All-Star Race, the Wells Fargo Championship, the NASCAR Hall of Fame, the Charlotte Ballet, Children's Theatre of Charlotte, Carowinds amusement park, and the U.S. National Whitewater Center.
Charlotte has a humid subtropical climate. It is located several miles east of the Catawba River and southeast of Lake Norman, the largest man-made lake in North Carolina. Lake Wylie and Mountain Island Lake are two smaller man-made lakes located near the city.

The Cincinnati Art Museum is one of the oldest art museums in the United States. Founded in 1881, it was the first purpose-built art museum west of the Alleghenies. Its collection of over 60,000 works make it one of the most comprehensive collections in the Midwest.
The Museum of Flight is a private non-profit air and space museum at King County International Airport (Boeing Field), in the city of Tukwila, south of downtown Seattle, Washington. It was established in 1965 and is fully accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. As the largest private air and space museum in the world, it also hosts the largest K-12 educational programs in the world.[citation needed]
The museum attracts over 400,000 visitors every year. The museum serves more than 140,000 students yearly through both its onsite programs: a Challenger Learning Center, an Aviation Learning Center, and a summer camp (ACE), as well as outreach programs that travel throughout Washington and Oregon.

The Basilica of St Castor is the oldest church in Koblenz in the German state of Rhineland Palatinate.
Pope John Paul II raised St Castor to a basilica minor on 30 July 1991. This church is worth seeing for the historical events that have occurred in it, its extensive Romanesque construction and its largely traditional furnishings.
Since 2002, the Basilica of St Castor has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape of the Upper Middle Phine Valley. In addition, it is a cultural property protected under the Hague Convention.

The Castles were not built prinicpally for war, far less photogenic structures, (Bastles and Pele Towers would have served that purpose,) but as demonstrations of wealth and power. They performed the same function for Kings and Lords as the great catherals and maginificent medieval churches did for priesthood.
The annual College of DuPage Foundation Scholarship Reception brings together scholarship recipients and donors to meet and share their stories. Th is year, the Foundation awarded nearly 500 scholarships totaling $500,000 and received a record 1,800 applications.
