“My name’s London, and I have one dog. People say we look alike.”
This month’s Blythe a Day group on Flickr has a simple theme: numbers. Each day’s picture must somehow include the number of the day—one on April first, two on the second, etc. I’m not sure how this is going to play out, especially as the numbers get bigger later in the month, but I’m going to give it a go!
This Blythe doll is Prima Dolly London. Her dog is a Barbie pet.
Number 54 is the male California condor who was guarding the nest these days near the Navajo Bridge in Marble Canyon, Arizona. Nearly extinct by the 1980s, captive bred California condors were reintroduced in the Grand Canyon in 1996, hoping they will settle back again in the area. They are the largest flying land birds in North America.

Created for the Flickr Friday theme, LUCKY NUMBER.
I found this image looking back over my old images. I like this shot because through the effective use of selective colouring you can really manage to capture the contrast between old and new, and I think I managed to do that quite well.
Another aspect of the image I like is the sense of mystery it creates. What can you find behind the door? Who is living there? The answer to these questions is up to the observer .

Extremely rare to see one of these with a UK/Ireland number plate never mind a Polish one! This blue is one of my favourite colours for a car. Spotted in Belfast, 1409km from home

It's so important to exercise each day. I did a a long workout this morning and got the old ticker going as well. I always feel good afterward.
Bavaria has an uncountable number of beautiful churches and chapels. But one of the most famous views is undisputable on the little church of St. Sebastian in Ramsau.
When I spent another exciting shooting day in Berchtesgadener Land in October 2011 I passed the village of Ramsau at this beautiful autumnal afternoon. First I thought it would’nt make any sense to stop to make some pictures, because I was afraid of too many people around, especially on the bridge. You must know, there’s a webcam just behind the spot, where I took this picture and people are standing for a long time on the bridge, calling their relatives at home, so that they can see them. Fortunately there were nearly no people around, so I was able to get this nice pic.

Fleet number 428 was captured arriving at the new Cammo terminus of route 41 in north west Edinburgh. Unlike the previous picture, the driver has entered the triangular layout from the southern end and is now at the correctly labelled stop for the service to the city and The King’s Buildings. Buses started serving the new terminus from 05 June 2022

Amtrak train number 6, the eastbound California Zephyr pulls to a stop adjacent the former Rio Grande depot in Grand Junction as the head end crews swap and brief on the platform. Sitting adjacent in the west yard is the BNSF local power consisting of a Heritage II painted GP60M. The yellow brick tile roof building at right is a former D&RGW office building that is surprisingly young, having been built in 1950 in a style and color to match the 1906 Union Station that sits just to the west blocked by the Zephyr. The long empty station is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and it and this office are being restored to anchor a redevelopment project in the historic lower downtown area.
