This 34 page leaflet was written by Douglas Young and published by the SNP. Page one of the booklet states "The word quisling has come, in ordinary use, to mean any person who acts against the national independence and national interests of his own nation. Thus in Scotland, any born Scot who is opposed to national independence and prosperity of the Scots nation is a quisling"

Garden Number Three - "Wasgat Cove" - 4 Sargeant Drive, Northeast Harbor, Maine
"The Normandy style cypress home was built between 1920 and 1922 by Philadelphia architect John Sinkler for his brother, Wharton Sinkler, from whom the present owners purchased the property. The owners enhanced the landscape by using native plants, shrubs and trees. Having visited Asian gardens, they felt a connection between those gardens and the serenity of Wasgat Cove. The heirloom apple trees at the entrance and the rhododendron hedge bordering the house take visitors through a rock garden of sedum and succulents to a Monet bench surrounded by climbing hydrangea.
Continuing uphill is the pool garden with its Perugia urn and moss covered granite bench. A path from a teak bench and Toscano urn leads down to Hadlock Brook as it feeds a waterwheel and joins Somes Sound. Back uphill at the house, a waterfront terrace features six Lunaform urns. A set of steps leads through native plantings to a 300 foot pier that ends with an octagonal gazebo that affords views up and down Somes Sound."

An EC-135, tail number 63-8049, “Looking Glass” aircraft that will be restored by the Strategic Air and Space Museum is on display during a kickoff event, Ashland, Neb., March 13, 2015. The airframe was used by Strategic Air Command from 1964 through 1990 to provide a survivable aerial command and control platform in the event that underground command centers, alternate command posts, or ground-based communications were lost. The EC-135 also served as an alternate method to launch the Minuteman/Peacekeeper missiles if needed. After its final continuous mission on July 24, 1990, the 63-8049 spent nearly three years on ground alert duty before being transferred to the Strategic Air and Space Museum on March 2, 1993. SAC was disestablished June 1, 1992, and USSTRATCOM was created Oct. 1, 1992 and given responsibility for the nation’s strategic forces. Today, USSTRATCOM is one of nine DoD unified combatant commands and is charged with strategic deterrence, space operations, cyberspace operations, joint electronic warfare, global strike, missile defense, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, combating weapons of mass destruction, and analysis and targeting. Scans of old number card found in the center of a clear plastic telephone dial on a Western Electric Model 500. Scanned with permission of Alan Smithee. He was throwing out the phone, called it an old dinosaur, lead weighted tank, and bounced it off the linoleum to prove it. So I knicked a piece of Hollywood history. He's had that number since time began.
"It was 31 when I had the battery/bell box put on the wall in the studio behind the reception desk wired to a candlestick, we were the thirty-first telephone in Hollywood, CA. When they changed it to a special long distance booth the number was HOL 311 (Hollywood-three-double-one) for a short while, just three digits and you told the operator which exchange, you could pick up the phone anywhere and ask for HOLLYWOOD 311 (Hollywood-three-double-one) and get connected here, but if you were in New York you couldn't hear the other end hardly at all, Chicago at best. So when we got a pbx on the lot, we also got another digit they made the L a 5 and the HOLLYWOOD exchange became the first two digits you could direct-dial six digits [465-311] - then HOLlywood 3111 (Hollywood-three-triple-one) they concatenated a 1 onto the end again when we got an area code 213 [HO5-3111].
"This was the extension phone in the lobby. It's seen a lot of abuse and anger. We started cleaning it when it got our talent sick. We bought the phone from Ma Bell in the 70's so when the area code changed they wouldn't update the card. That phone has heard more secrets and lies than... than ME! Oh if that phone could talk...
It CAN!"
Then he turned to pitch a box of 1000' 35mm film cans full of magnetic stripe and leader while mumbling about obsolescence.
Each key has a number on it which is its frequency relative to the other numbered keys. The numbers 7, 11, 13 and 14 do not come accurately on notes but fall in the cracks - actually I did lose the 7 down a crack when taking the photo!
Our whole system is based around the 12 note scale rather than the purer harmonic relationships so that what is called the "theory of music" is actually quite far from it. I have invented a method for correctly making notes on an electronic instrument and made it public so that anyone can use it if they have the ability to set it up.
