We are back from a whirl-wind trip to Disneyland and Lego Land in southern California. We drove from Tucson to Utah and picked up 2 rambunchous little boys then on to Los Angeles for our Disney adventure. We spent a full day at Disneyland. Bright and early the next morning we drove south to LegoLand for another full day of fun. Oh my aching feet! After leaving LegoLand we hit the road and headed back to Tucson for a quick visit before driving the boys to their parents in Utah.

This car was purchased in Benidorm by it's present owner Alan Crisp. It had been converted from a Saloon to a Roadster in 1998 in Vietnam.
Alan entered the car in the 2007 Paris-Peking commemorative marathon run, amongst the modifications the car was fitted with an 18 gallon fuel tank carrying a further 10 litres in jerry cans to increase range to around 450 miles

She was number 3 of the 4 most significant women in my life. Even though our marriage only lasted 9 years we parted as friends and she still remains a dear friend to this day staying in touch via E-mail and an occassional phone call.

Trackside sign on the spur leading to the sidings at Cricklewood. Probably means something to the train drivers but seemed fairly arbitrary to me.

Having two doors creating a sort of air-lock makes my dogs safer.
Teaching successive lodgers how important it is to close both doors is another matter altogether.
The number on the back of the Stewart J. Cort has meaning. She was the first 1000 footer to be constructed. Here she is on Friday, May 10 passing the Superior Light, destination the BNSF ore dock for a load of pellets. The wind was stirring up the bottom of the harbor pretty good, hence the brown color of the water.
Seen this fellow cruising around the lake near me today!.. never seen anything like this hairstyle on a duck before! ..He looks awesome! I'm guessing the pimp has arrived to check on his "ladies" :)
