Back in the first half of the 1970s a Hibberd 'Orenstein Type' arrived at the Leighton Buzzard Narrow Gauge Railway. It was a 'runner' but the engine governor was badly worn and performance was a somewhat erratic. After various changes in ownership and languishing in store for many years the current custodian is transferring it to Apedale where at the very least it can be on display.

Currently Berlin's youngest and shortest U-Bahn line, also the line with the highest number, the U55, which began service in 2009, is due to close in June for six months. This will enable the last work in connecting power rails and signalling to the extension of the U5 from Alexanderplatz. When it re-opens again in December, it will all be known as U5 and run from Hönow to Hauptbahnhof with three new stations; Berliner Rathaus, Unter den Linden and Museumsinsel, although trains will not stop there until June 2021, when it is scheduled to open.

So having made-over a half-dozen Queen of Hearts dolls into Number One in Star Trek (2009) continuity, I finally laid hands on a Tango from the FAO Schwartz gift set to be made over into Majel Barrett's Number One from "The Cage".
Because of the scary piercing where she had the rose in her teeth, I had to soak the head in boiling water first, to close up the holes. Luckily, after that I only had to touch up her lipstick slightly. I repainted her eyes, and restyled her hair. She's rebodied on a Mistress of Ceremonies body, but as soon as I can get a Pop Life Steffie for her, I'll probably swap, just so she can wear her ring...
Her fashion is a 9" Playmates Pike's shirt, with a collar I made (badly, I'm afraid) from matching fabric. The trousers come from Mistress of Ceremonies, and the boots come from the 1996 Star Trek giftset.
I found this series of numbers (representing the twelve days of Christmas) on a decorated wall at Pembroke Mall in Virginia Beach. Each number was on a painted door.
