These are some of my favorite stickers I've done...Life has been busy so the combos have been a bit off...I am trying to get packs out...

The new batch of Transdev Lancashires' Route 225 buses are a good 6 months old now, and still looking good after a harsh winter.

The interior has leather seats, and adverts overhead. The white roof makes a big difference compared to the carpet in the B10s

152 buses now feature this roof interior, and along with the new yellow and blue, brightens up all the buses!

A new batch of wigs arrived on friday... :)

The Petronas Towers, also known as the Petronas Twin Towers, are twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. According to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH)'s official definition and ranking, they were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004 and remain the tallest twin towers in the world. The buildings are a landmark of Kuala Lumpur, along with nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower.

The 88-floor towers are constructed largely of reinforced concrete, with a steel and glass facade designed to resemble motifs found in Islamic art, a reflection of Malaysia's Muslim religion. Another Islamic influence on the design is that the cross section of the towers is based on a Rub el Hizb, albeit with circular sectors added to meet office space requirements.

As a result of the Malaysian government specifying that the buildings be completed in six years, two construction consortiums were hired to meet the deadline, one for each tower. Tower 1, the west tower (right in the top-right photograph) was built by a Japanese consortium led by the Hazama Corporation (JA Jones Construction Co., MMC Engineering Services Sdn Bhd, Ho Hup Construction Co. Bhd and Mitsubishi Corp) while Tower 2, the east tower (left in the top-right photograph) was built by a South Korean consortium led by the Samsung C&T Corporation (Kukdong Engineering & Construction and Syarikat Jasatera Sdn Bhd). Early into construction a batch of concrete failed a routine strength test causing construction to come to a complete halt. All the completed floors were tested but it was found that only one had used a bad batch and it was demolished. As a result of the concrete failure, each new batch was tested before being poured. The halt in construction had cost US$700,000 per day and led to three separate concrete plants being set up on the site to ensure that if one produced a bad batch, the other two could continue to supply concrete. The sky bridge contract was completed by Kukdong Engineering & Construction. Tower 2 became the first to reach the world's tallest building at the time. When the structure reached about 72nd floor, tower 1 ran into problems. They discovered the structure was leaning 25 millimetres (0.98 in) off from vertical. To correct the lean, the next 16 floors were slanted back 20 millimetres (0.79 in) with specialist surveyors hired to check verticality twice a day until the building's completion.

Due to the huge cost of importing steel, the towers were constructed on a cheaper radical design of super high-strength reinforced concrete. High-strength concrete is a material familiar to Asian contractors and twice as effective as steel in sway reduction; however, it makes the building twice as heavy on its foundation as a comparable steel building. Supported by 23-by-23 metre concrete cores and an outer ring of widely spaced super columns, the towers use a sophisticated structural system that accommodates its slender profile and provides 560,000 square metres of column-free office space. Below the twin towers is Suria KLCC, a shopping mall, and Dewan Filharmonik Petronas, the home of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra [Wikipedia.org]

With new batches of Hot Wheels finally coming on stream here in the U.K. its meant being able to get this new recolour of the 1981 Chevrolet Camaro. Its a wonderfully simplistic yet very crisp looking casting which proves not all diecasts have to be really detailed to catch my attention and I suspect this quite unassuming model will actually prove quite popular with collectors especially in this light blue colour scheme. I've only found one so far, this coming from an ASDA though no doubt i'll probably grab a few more as and when. Mint and boxed.

Bluestar's 1911 (YSU 875, ex-W477 WGH) was being employed today on Southampton University open day shuttles.

This will be its last year doing so as a uni-link bus, as a new batch of Enviro400s are due later this year, to displace the Scania OmniCitys and the handful of Volvo B7TLs brought in to cover a frequency increase.

It will be interesting to see what happens to it afterwards though. A number of similar B7TLs are in Go South Coat's event fleet, still in tatty London paint, and were also in use today, so don't count out this bus from ever doing the open day again!

On the first day of a new batch of driver familiarisation runs between Melbourne and Junee, Aurizon's G533 arrives in Albury with a crew of 3. For today, this will be the furtherest north before the run back to Melbourne is commenced.

One of a brand new batch of E200s which have been parachuted into Wigan immediately after the takeover. It wears Stagecoach Wigan fleetnames above the driver's cab window. This means that I've probably missed some of the step entrance stock and possibly the Excels.

Nilima Rani Mondol, 32, lives in Barakuput village at Atulia union of Shyamnagar upazila in Khulna. She lives with her husband, who is a mason, and two sons. She produces boxes for packaging sweets, as well as harvest paddy and vegetables on a little amount of land. During Hindu marriage occasions, the demand for her boxes increase, but this year that came down to zero due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Even her husband was out of work for a significant amount of time. Cyclone Amphan devastated her vegetable field, which eliminated any remaining source of livelihood the family had, as well as all the fruit trees in front of her house. She received cash support from UN Women as a victim of Cyclone Amphan, which she used to pay the printing press for her new batch of boxes, as her business resumed soon afterwards. Her husband also began to get work, not as much as the pre-pandemic days, but it is a start.

With no new batches of Matchbox in sight here in the U.K. the only way to find something new to collect is via their five vehicle sets which sadly don't yield any brand new castings but do offer some genuinely appealing recolours of older favourites. The Ford Police Interceptor is wheeled out for 2017 in this remarkably plain looking State Police livery, a distinct lack of front and rear tampo mar an otherwise very crisp looking model which suits those chrome disc wheels. Bought recently from Lidl of all places! Mint and boxed.

Dakkhina Bahadur, 30, is physically and visually impaired, who lives with her husband and two children at Baraikhali in Dacope upazila in Khulna. Cyclone Amphan destroyed her stock of “Chaar”, or catching equipment for crabs made from bamboo. Her business of selling Chaar was steady before the Covid-19 pandemic, but that came to a halt soon after. She received cash support from UN Women as a victim of Cyclone Amphan as well as the Covid-19 pandemic, which she used to purchase raw materials for making new batches of Chaar. This helped her to resume selling the item again. Business has not been brisk compared to the pre-pandemic days six months ago, but at least now she has begun again.

Old Spice secretly replaced the brilliant "man you wished your man smelled like" Isaiah Mustafa with 80s punchline Fabio in a new batch of TV spots. Now we'll all have to rise up in anger and fight for our beloved former pitchman giving Old Spice tons of free press for bad behavior. Fantastic.

Finding new batches of Matchbox continues to be chronically bad at the moment to the point I actually feel privileged to have found just the one Batch J in ONE ASDA back in September. America is now on L and others such as Australia are even getting M! We all knew giving just one retailer the exclusive rights to sell Matchbox wasn't going to work and after two years thats proved correct despite all their promises!

I was lucky enough to find a full case and so managed to walk away with a few of these newly recoloured 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Convertibles. It blurs the lines a little between the MBX and HW brands in its subject choice but being a product of the former it does at least look like its just rolled out of a Chevrolet showroom. It sits right, it looks right and shines magnificently in this deep metallic blue colour.

Mint and boxed.

Having had to recently resort to using Ebay to find me the 2017 recolour of the Matchbox 2015 Mazda MX-5 it is definitely with a tinge of sadness and frustration that I look back to August 2016 when I bought several of these from Morrisons. Back then they were the main retailer in which to reliably and consistently find new batches and I never had any reason to think that would end but literally by the end of that month ASDA had taken the exclusive rights and things have gone down markedly ever since! The model itself is pure perfection and a great rendition of the latest MX-5 with its mix of curves and honed chiselled features, Matchbox wisely decided to give it this signature plain red colour which helped to highlight the nice front and rear tampo treatment. Mint and boxed.

Rewind back to June 2016 and that great feeling of discovering a new batch of Hot Wheels fresh on the shelves reared itself and typical of that period I happily snapped up many of my favourite castings. I was more than happy to see the 1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport reappear especially so in this very retro looking orange and black colour scheme which is eye catching but era appropriate in equal measures. Whats not to like about a great stocking bit of 70's Detroit Iron! Bought from Morrisons who at the time were still my main source of new batch Matchbox as well as Hot Wheels. Mint and boxed.

Seen outside Luton Town Hall in the Summer of 2000 is Volvo B10 / Plaxton Derwent F153 KGS which had been new to Buffalo of Flitwick in 1988 and taken over by The Shires in 1995. Shortly after this photograph the mixture of older vehicles operating on the 37 / 38 / 39 series of routes were replaced with a new batch of Dennis Tridents.

A new batch of bubble envelopes I made last night while watching Shaun of the Dead - kept me amused anyway! Made from a vintage dictionary.

The 2015 Ram 1500 made its debut into the Matchbox line up late in 2016 and they certainly guaranteed it an audience by giving it this much loved National Parks livery. Its a nice chunky casting which although isn't one of their finest i'm no doubt will soon be seen in the Police liveries it was designed for. Bought from ASDA who have finally got a new batch of Matchbox in which should compensate a little for the fact they are now exclusive stockists of this iconic diecast brand here in the U.K. Mint and boxed.

Government is cutting red tape around licensing, making it easier and more cost-effective for golf courses and ski hills to expand their liquor licence areas, as a new batch of Liquor Policy Review updates is rolled out.

Made in direct response to feedback heard during the Liquor Policy Review, ski hills and golf courses can apply, starting on Dec. 9, for a single licence endorsement that covers up to 26 events in a calendar year, rather than having to apply and pay separately for each extension.

The Welcome ceremony of New batch of 200-Hour yoga teachers training students took place at the premises of AYM Yoga School in Upper Tapovan, Rishikesh

The Bar Ten is a working cattle ranch on the rim of the Grand Canyon. Located on the remote Arizona Strip between Grand Canyon and Interstate 15, the expansive property has some of the best trophy deer hunting in America. Today, the Bar Ten is also a key player in today's Colorado River rafting adventures.

The ranchers realized decades ago that there was a business opportunity coming almost to their doorstep: hundreds of "river rats" floating by in the canyon. They tried bringing up tourists on mules, giving them a taste of western hospitality, then returning them back to the rafts. It was a hit. Visits to the Bar Ten became a staple of river trips. (The mules were since replaced with helicopters.)

Today, the Bar Ten is a busy place! Some rafting groups take out here, and others put in here. The upper river trips fly up from a tiny helipad at Whitmore Wash, then fly in 16-seater planes to Las Vegas. In their place, a new batch of tourists from Las Vegas helicopters down to raft the last 100 miles of the canyon. That 7-minute flight from ranch to river is a thrill.

While staying at the Bar Ten, guests get to eat lunch and a steak dinner, ride horses and ATVs, go skeet shooting, see a nature museum of desert animals, and sleep overnight in indoor bunks, a covered wagon or out under the stars. The property includes an attractive western lodge, hot showers and a well-stocked gift shop. The friendly ranch hands put on a kickin' western show in the evening that's loads of fun.

When Tesco began to sell Majorette models here in the U.K. back in March 2016 they strangely didn't sell any of the basic mainline stuff in singles which would have been a good opportunity to replace their Realtoy based range. Premium priced singles, trucks, buses and sets were the order of the day though in their defence they also sold a 13 vehicle set which not only was great value but also contained newer batches of their mainline castings. This VW New Beetle MK2 in convertible guise was one of those models and for the low price its easy to see the appeal with its plain colour scheme, contrasting blacked out wheels and clear plastic headlamps not to mention great detailing and a realistic interior. Later in the year these did actually appear as singles in our Morrisons stores and this 13 vehicle set can now of course be found in Toys R Us. Mint and boxed.

In Llandudno on excursion from Swindon to the Llandudno Victorian extravaganza.

Class 57/6 : rebuilt in 2001 . max speed : 95mph

Leasing company Porterbrook, following the success of the Freightliner Class 57/0 conversion, realised the potential for an ETS (elecrical train supply) fitted variant of the Class 57 as replacements on passenger duties for Class 47/8s, the latter suffering from ever decreasing reliability, so a trial locomotive was commissioned and was converted from 47825 , originally D1759 new in August 1964 , at Brush Traction, Loughborough.

Internally, the locomotive was completely rewired and fitted with a General Motors engine and an ex-Class 56 alternator . The locomotive was intended as a demonstrator. Externally, a front end restyle was carried out and the locomotive was painted in an eye catching livery of purple and silver. The front end is different to the class 47 and 57/0s with the former headcode panel removed and Railtrack standard triangulation headlights and marker light clusters are fitted.

First Great Western took 57601 on lease during its testing period and it worked in a common pool with the Class 47/8 fleet also with the company. The trial was a success and paved the way for ordering a batch of Class 57s with ETS to replace its Class 47 fleet on sleeper trains. This new batch was to be more powerful still and so, 57601 became non standard within the fleet and was sold to Carnforth-based West Coast Railway Company where it has become a stalwart of the operation, seeing much use on charter trains throughout the country.

MHV 54 being one of the new batch of Volvo B5LH Hybrid buses fitted with MCV EvoSeti bodywork and allocated to Go-Ahead London Central's Peckham (PM) bus garage for use on routes 63 and 363 following on from the earlier batch of MHVs which are based at Camberwell on routes 35, 40, 42 and 45 plus those based at Mandela Way on route 1. In this case MHV 54 is seen heading south on route 63 in Farringdon Street having just passed beneath the historic Holborn Viaduct and is approaching the junction with Ludgate Circus bound for Honor Oak (Forest Hill Tavern).

The Matchbox New Year started off in late December with 2025 Case A and indeed B appearing in various UK retailers which i'm HOPING is a good sign for the rest of the year. With 2024 being a truly terrible year in finding new batches of Matchbox I couldn't risk missing out and yet again found myself ordering this batch from Jcar in the US.

Say hello to the latest recoloured 1970 Datsun Bluebird 510 Rally which continues its all over racing themed livery though it has to be said I would have thought Matchbox might consider a totally stock 510 generation Bluebird to go with the more customised Hot Wheels equivalents.

Mint and boxed.
