All my insect pics are one shot, hand-held macros of live insects in the wild.

Since my last visit with the new batch of Green Heron Chicks, they have learned to fly....except this little one. Must have been the last one to hatch, he did manage to jump and flap his wings enough to get onto a low tree branch and then hopped his way up to safety and waited for a parent to show up with some food!

These were very popular so time for a new batch

Shoulda cranked up the speed a bit tho....

One of our blessings is to enjoy a new batch of these little darlings each summer.

They are so precious.

Enjoy a wonderful weekend!

The last of my Grundy Lake early dawn misty mornings. Hopefully I will get a new batch in August with a few new points of view.

There's a new batch of baby blue jays in the yard.

Looks like the kids went swimming in the river.

Fomatone 131 batch 079648-02,

two tray development:

1st SE5 Lith (A+B+D+water) 50+50+50+1000ml 2:45 mins.

2nd Pyrocatechol 12ml + Lith B 8ml + NH4Cl 20% 5ml + water 800ml 3 mins.

The current batches show the desired results in the lith printing process, but it should be noted that the snowball problem still persists with long development times (over 6–8 minutes). I described the strategy for avoiding undesirable structures some time ago (Dec. 2023).

For easier reference, I have added the instructions for the three lith developer variants to my website.

I have been hanging out in the Cloud lakes sim with the new bladerunner theme and so in awe of this creators talent. What I find so amazing is the creator's ability to produce time after time incredible laid out builds. The materials used in some of the buildings will be the subject for a new batch of images as soon as I can work out a great outfit.

This morning my wife looked on her Facebbok page and they had selected a picture posted 2 years ago. Tiny eggs starting to hatch on our washing line.

Two hours later she was hanging out some washing........and what did she find!!!!!! a new batch of eggs.

To create a slightly more intense colour with this new Fomatone batch, a second weak alkaline bath can be used. Weak Lith B solutions or mixtures of Lith B and Lith Omega are suitable.

First tray Easy Lith FT Special 1+18 8 minutes

Second tray 1 litre of water 10ml B + 5ml Omega 1:30 minutes

With a total development time of nine and a half minutes, there are still no snowball or marbling effects. However, this cannot be generalised, as such faults often occur only in homogeneous areas.

SE278 temporarily does the 366 until the new batch of electric buses are ready.

After one year working on last summer pictures, I finally have a new batch of (hopefully worth posting !) shots !

I'm sorry for my lack of post lately but circumstances (and lack of content) made me step a bit back from Flickr. Anyway,

This is - according to me - the most stunning waterfall in Plitvice National Park. The "big waterfall", Veliki Slap might be tall but not as majestic as this one. So if you are planning to hike & shoot in Plitivce, go straight to enter 2 (6.30am or earlier) and run to this waterfall. Ths morning light is superb and you will fully enjoy the magic of the place without the crowd.

I hope you'll like the shot ! this is a hand held panorama of 4 vertical shots stiched with Lightroom. Feel free to comment, like and share !

Photographing on mostly cloudy days always offers the potential for surprise. Sure it may remain cloudy with flat light, BUT occasionally a whole in the cloud layer allows direct light to flood through. Such was the case on a four day backpacking trip through a remarkable mountain range in Wyoming. If I had to choose between photographing in conditions pictured here or a vibrantly colored sunrise/ set, I'd take these conditions each and every time. Hope you enjoy! Feel free to visit my website to see more new work (www.michaelbollino.com). A new batch of fall images are coming along. I plan on posting those to my site by next week. Thanks!

Today was a Souper day - I had run out so a new batch was needed! I make a batch of 4 portions to have for my Tea each day, this goes down well with toasted Spelt bread - something I started when I was diagnosed ‘Pre-diabetic’ - now reversed I hasten to add but the healthy diet carries on.

366- I’ve decided to do this to force me to pick up a camera other than when we are away on our travels (they will be posted as normal) - I will be interested to see what transpires, they will be varied I’m sure so we’ll see where inspiration takes me over the course of the year, hopefully at the end of it I will be a better photographer. Feel free to critique as you see fit, but please don’t feel obliged, I anticipate they will not be to all tastes. Have a great year and if you also have embarked on a 365 project then good luck in seeing it through, Alan:-)

Following a heavy shower, Stagecoach in Cumbria ADL Enviro 400 MMC 10556 - SN16 ONZ calls at Grasmere on route 555 to Keswick via Central Lakes. Soon the bus will have moved on too as a brand new batch of E400 MMCs enter service.

CN received a large batch of ex-CREX units last summer which were numbered in the 3913-3987 series. CN has now received a second batch of ex-CREX units. These are numbered in the 2750-2796 series and have only entered service during the past few weeks. Here CN 2766 (ex-CREX 1316) leads CN 120 not too long after it departed Taschereau Yard. Trailing is CN 3016 & CN 3883.

Since these new Streetdecks were introduced into service some have ventured onto other Bradford services. The new livery has evoked memories of the former corporation livery, in the First corporate style. Bradford is also introducing a new low emissions zone for the city.

The new batch of twenty-eight new Streetdecks fit the bill, for the new LEZ within the city of Bradford. Here 35660 is seen working the Sunday hourly service to Eldwick terminus, a mile or so from the old 'Dick Hudson's' Pub. This used to be an old terminus point for the 68 service from Bradford, many years ago. The driver was very pleasant and gives a wave as he departs the Edlwick terminus for Bradford.

A rare Sunday outing yielded another on the new batch, Incredibly Lucky, very happy snapper.

We were both enjoying a week off a few weeks agao and had some luck with the weather during that week off.

Decided to visit National Park Dwingelderveld again and follow some hikingtrails.

Wanted to test and practice some more with our gear again.

Took as we do almost every time also some of our analog gear with us.

One of our Canon Eos 3 cameras was loaded with some fresh Ilford XP2 Super 400 for a change

Developing was done at home with our Cinestillfilm Cs41 kit at 39c and 4 minutes

This was the fourth film with the new batch of developer mixed on September 9 2020

Curious if we can reach over 25 films again and 10 months with this new batch.

The previous developer batch was used to develop 28 films (135-36 format) over an period of 10 months without any problems.

The Cinestill CS41 does stay in good working condition if kept cool, dark and oxygen free.

Despite the influx of a new batch of Vectrons for SBB Cargo International, the company still has a number of hired in ELL liveried class members in use on international freight services.

One such example is Class 193, No.193 256 which is pictured passing through Einigen (between Spiez and Thun) with SBB Cargo liveried Vectron No.193 466 'Bellinzona' leading an intermodal service from Italy.

Tomorrow, Route 367 is handed over to Abellio London from their Beddington Cross (BC) garage with a brand new batch of E20D MMCs.

A new batch of my recent Thailand pics can now be seen on my website - bugs-alive.blogspot.com

All my insect pics are single, handheld shots of live insects in wild situations.

Apparently a new batch of Ladybugs had just been released to help control insect pests. I'm glad I didn't feel the need to sit down on this bench!

The new batch of E400MMC Citys for Glasgow was launched at an event in George Square right in the heart of Glasgow city centre. The event coincided with the entry into service of the high-spec buses, which replace E200MMCs in a similar purple livery.

A baby 'Blue Moon' hybrid tea rose, photographed late this afternoon, at about 6.30pm, as the sun was setting over the rose gardens at Baulkham Hills, in Sydney.

Thursday 29th October, 2020.

Roxborough Park Rose Gardens, at Baulkham Hills, in north-western Sydney.

A new batch of 'Blue Moons' has just arrived at the Roxborough Park Rose Gardens, and so I travelled out to Baulkham Hills late this afternoon to photograph these roses, arriving about one hour before sunset.

There are 'wall to wall' garden beds of 'Blue Moon' hybrid teas, including the one above. There are numerous mature 'Blue Moons' in full flower, as well as an army of 'Blue Moon' baby buds, such as the one above. It is a garden city of fragrance, because 'Blue Moon' is a highly fragrant hybrid tea-rose.

The 'Blue Moon' hybrid tea-rose was bred in Germany. It was introduced to the world by German rose growers in 1964.

It is a lilac or lavender coloured rose, even though it is named as being "blue". It has very few, if any, thorns. And it is highly fragrant.

Roxborough Park is one of Sydney's most amazing rose gardens maintained by the Hills Shire Council. The collection of 'Blue Moon' hybrid tea roses is the finest and most extensive that I have seen anywhere.

From Saturday 23rd, Route B13 has been retained by Arriva Kent Thameside (Arriva London) with a new batch of Enviro 200s.

I've been very inactive on Flickr for a while now, but in truth I've just been really busy with family and any remaining spare time has to be put into new sculpts, so I rarely get time to actually paint!

I've had this for a while, so I decided to paint him up and do an upload.

This wasn't sculpted with the casting process in mind, so this won't be part on the new batch or anything.

Onto the figure. Luke was never really a favourite character from the original trilogy, so I was never really fussed about having him in my collection, BUT I really love everything to do with the Hoth section in Empire Strikes Back, so I decided that a Hoth version of Luke would make a nice addition to the collection.

It's not the best paintwork that I've ever done, but with limited time, I think it turned out ok.

Hope you guys like it ; )

With a bad weather forecast for Saturday a while back and some other plans we went out for a hike on Friday.

We both had the whole week off and did enjoy the days off with some nice days and also a few days with some rain and lower temperatures

Decided to visit the Boswachterij Gees nature reserve while the weather would still be nice. Followed some of the available trails did enjoy the time spend there.

Took as we basically always do one of our Canon Eos 3 cameras with us. Decided to load it with some Ilford XP2 Super 400 for a change

Developing was done with our Cinestill Cs41 kit at 39c and 4 minutes after some struggles with the spool. Did have some issues loading the film. So I ended up with a film with some scratches and spots, but still do like the results

This was the ninth film with the new batch of developer mixed on September 9 2020

Curious if we can reach over 25 films again and 10 months with this new batch.

The previous developer batch was used to develop 28 films (135-36 format) over an period of 10 months without any problems.

The Cinestill CS41 does stay in good working condition if kept cool, dark and oxygen free.

Momma Mallard has obviously been injured somehow, but that does not stop her from taking care of her new batch of ducklings. Most of the ducklings hatched weeks ago, but these have been much more recently introduced to the world. (No male Mallard anywhere in sight of this family, but that's not at all unusual.)

So cute in the first few weeks.

Columbia Road Flower Market

New batch of DC figs I made. Left side are some purist bois and right are not.

Booster Gold - I like the design, it's kinda basic but it works for my tastes.

(BvS Superman torso, Star Wars head, TLBM arms)

Zoom - I really am happy with this fig. I don't think I've seen anyone use this helmet for seizure man, and I thought it looked perfect.

(Zod torso and legs, CMF helmet, Vambraces)

Flash - I made this guy over a year ago, I only just updated it with the painted boots cause why not.

(Modded Flash torso and cowl)

Jesse Quick - Kinda based on her CW suit, just got inspired to paint the Stargirl head from Enøshima.

(Scarlet Witch torso, modded Stargirl head)

So the last photos i posted were shot whilst sitting around waiting for it to stop raining…and of course I was after the 'typical british holiday' cliche shot, but actually, when it did stop raining, it was absolutely glorious.

The new batch (starting now with one from Durdle Door, and followed soon by some more of the surrounding coastline) show dorset on a spectacular English summers day with some fluffy cumulus clouds to set the landscapes off perfectly.

Shot mid afternoon whilst the place was full of tourists, breaking all the landscape photography rules (get up at the crack of dawn for the best light etc). But i like the challenge of shooting at times like these, and its also how the majority of people will get to see the place anyway, so it might possibly strike more of a chord than would a moody sunrise?

Tower Transit route 328: Golders Green Station - Chelsea, World's End

Westbourne Park Station (B)

WN35003-35004 have been refitted with Tower Transit-styled seats and some new lighting, with WN35001-35002 more than likely also receiving refurbishment to explain their absence from service. These should complete the PVR alongside the ordered new batch VH38112-38136 due to enter service in April for the route's contract renewal.

The bus was previously curtailed to Westbourne Park before curtailing to Notting Hill Gate.
