Seen at POUS MELA (a grand fair held in end December every year) in Santiniketan, West Bengal, India.
Santiniketan is about 140 KM from Kolkata (CalCutta). The Nobel Lauriate poet RabindraNath Tagore founded a world university here in 1922. This university is world famous now with a large number of foreign students coming here from many countries of the world.
Every year , in end December , a grand fair is held here for 3 days. It is a showpiece event with various cultural activities from all over India. Visitors can see & taste the myriads displays by artisans --- handicrafts, folk dances, folk songs, classical dances & songs, rural & traditional foods from Bengal & other places.
These two masks were on a wall in a house we stayed in while i was shooting a wedding last march. It took place in sayulita, mexico. A beautiful surf town on the pacific. i thought these masks were awesome with the wall as a background.. enjoy.....

Bearing the typical Lion blonde-dyed mane, the mask like the Scorpion, riding a Unicorn-bred steed, bearing a duo-bladed weapon crafted by Crane swordsmiths, and riding solitary against all odds. Behind the mask, this is "The Wild Tiger", the demon in red that stands alone. None might see if this being is a man or woman, and the question has always come into play during war.

As Hong Kong Coronavirus/COVID-19 surpasses fifty cases in the city so most people don a face mask to protect themselves from the virus. Although there is some debate over the effectiveness of the masks to protect against infection and a citywide shortage of masks still the face covering has become started attire for most people in the city.

This is a leather mask inspired by My Chemical Romance's album and universe, Danger Days - The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.
I used acrylic paint and freehanded the design. Just a bit of fun!

A project i did for school, even though this photo came out look like some women's human rights thing, i think its pretty sweet. And i got to use our school awesome studio!
But a funny story happened after this photo... i was taking all my gear and my school stuff to the car, and tripped and fell on my face. Now i have bruising galore, as well as quite a swollen ankle. all my camera stuff is all good and safe but I'm going to be on crutches for a good while. wahhh......
so no pictures unless i can do it in a sitting position. wish me luck and to get better
