Thought this would be an interesting shot from the kitchen through the bar into the dining room of my sister's house.
Umm I can't remember what type of fish this was because it wasn't my course but the vegetables were ratatouille and mashed potatoes.

It's not prix fixe, and you won't have a full menu to choose from (you'll eat what I serve, darn it!) but it's still pretty yummy.

Selvom det ikke er så let at handle ind til dansk mad så havde jeg lovet at lave noget en dag. Jeg fandt noget grisefars en dag (dog blandet med tang), men så tænkte jeg at så skal de da ha frikadeller og kartoffelmos med lidt grøntsager og smørsovs.
I knew it was something he would like, but it sure took a lot of convincing. Now, I think he likes it even more than me!

Thanksgiving! Here is the table all set! This was the first year I didn't go into a food coma after dinner! My dad and I fixed everything by ourselves, it came out pretty awesome!
But this is TURKEY meatloaf, not beef...you should try it! It's really good! Also on the plate is mashed potatoes with homemade pan gravy, and fresh steamed carrots with butter. I LOVE meatloaf sandwiches!
We've been looking at this product everytime that we go at the grocery store. This box is just priceless. What's Chiken-y flavor anyway?
I'd been craving Dressing and Turkey an all that after thanskgiving. So I used the leftover cornbread and some chicken mango sausages from trader joes with some onions to make the dressing. I brined and sort of pan roasted the Turkey. The Mashed Potatoes came out kinda chunky but still pretty good.
All in all it was good stuff.
Trader Vic's has changed their menu, and I am very disappointed. There are hardly any "lunch"-type choices (e.g., sandwiches and smaller offerings) and the prices have increased substantially. The best bet now is a 3-course prix fixe menu for $19 - one of the cheapest items on the new menu (seriously!). It looks like we will need to find a new place to eat after the dentist's visits.
Leftovers from Thanksgiving make the BEST burritos. Forget turkey sandwiches, try this!
