This Brimstone Moth [feel free to correct me on that, it's closest I could find in my research!] hung around our front doorway for almost 3 days. Normally you'd hush moths away, as they can be annoying, but this one never budged, never pestered, didn't chase or swirl ... just sat there, like a right lazy lump! I took pic's of it over 2 days, natural light, off camera flash ... it didn't seem to care ... I was about to name it on the 4th day when it had decided to bugger off .... miss you ... erm, Leafy ... [my 10yr old's unimaginative name for it]

After an eventful weekend, I didn't have much energy Monday and in lack of inspiration, I decided that it was time to go close - very close - to my scarf.
Playing about with extension tubes to take macro photos on my 85mm f1.2 lens! They did a pretty good job for £20!
Made these festive little guys for a friend's birthday over the weekend.
(Hooray for confetti sprinkles without confectioner's glaze! )

This cutest Lady beetle is my new guest and it is November...crazy! Was very difficult to shoot her because it is absolutely hectic insect and I needed a lot of patience and waiting, until she stopped running for some seconds...anyway somehow I am happy with result.

Photographer Mauricio Archila captured this cute macro photo of a tiny rubber ducky with his Fujifilm XT-2 and a Fotodiox Fujifilm X-mount Macro Extension Tube. The macro extension tube allowed him to focus much closer on the subject than his Meike MK-50mm f/2 lens would normally allow.

Late, very late today...
Well to be honest I had no idea of what to do today but somehow I remembered all those macro shots I saw some weeks ago where they use some miniatures of people doing an specific work or represent a specific profession, then I decided to take my macro extension tubes and give it a try, and as I said it was just a try, also I don't have this kind of figures like to use them, so I did a shot of myself and created the miniature.
I know it is not a good shot but well, at least is something, hahaha, I promise again to do something better in the upcoming days and also to post in time.
Have a great night you all and don't forget to clean your teeth.

Hi everyone!
Look what a found today!
This fellow was trying to get inside my apartment from the balcony, I noticed him when I was closing the door before leaving the apartment to go to the open air party this afternoon, so, I went for my camera, change the 50mm lens for the macro extension tubes and the 18-55mm lens, I did I think like 10 shots, but this three are my favorites.
Well, now I'm back home and preparing my food and stuff for tomorrow's morning training. It was a nice weekend!
Hope you had/are having a nice weekend too.
I captured this macro leaf photo with a Sony A7S and a Fotodiox Auto Macro Extension Tube with a FlapJack C-200 LED Edgelight as back lighting.

I just wrote a blog dedicated to one of my favorite lenses, the Sears 55mm/1.4.
(My digital camera broke this week, so this was taken with the Pentax K-30 I had to rent for a photo shoot I had scheduled for yesterday)
